"I will go over the layout and the location of restrooms, doors and VIP areas. (Updated on: 3/5/2024) Think of the auditorium as a horseshoe with the stage being on the OPEN end of it. From the main entrance on Capitol and Louisiana, you will be on the RIGHT side of the horseshoe. All odd numbered doors and seats will be on the right. Doors 1 and 3 are on the first floor (Orchestra Level) . Doors 5 and 7 will be on the second (Box and Mezzanine Level). Door 9 will be on the third (Balcony Level). From the entrance on Texas, you will be on the LEFT side of the horseshoe and all even numbered doors and seats will be on the left. Doors 2 and 4 will be on the first floor (Orchestra Level). Doors 6 and 8 will be on the second (Box and Mezzanine Level). Door 10 will be on the third (Balcony Level). Seats that are in the hundreds (100s) will be in the middle of the auditorium. Try and use the door that is indicated on your ticket as it should be the closest to your seat. Restrooms: -There is an ADA accessible restroom in the Courtyard (basement, garage access). You can take the elevator (elevator near Door 1) down to this level. -Near Doors 1 & 4 for the 1st floor (These two doors lead you to the same restroom - there is also a family restroom on the men's side) -Near Door 6 for the 2nd floor -Near Door 10 for the 3rd floor VIP areas: -The Green Room is located on the first floor near Door 1. -The Virtuoso Lounge is located on the first floor near Door 3 and in front of the round bar."

"For many years, I have been receiving the Shen Yun brochures, delicately attached to my home's doorknob. And every time I received it, I would briefly glance through it and admire the crisp design. However, what is far more impressive is their actual marketing efforts. I always wondered, "Why is this brochure attached to my door and not in my mailbox with the rest of the well-meaning advertisers?" Then, I had lunch with my friend, Jill, who runs Epoch Media News in Houston. The tea that she spilled in regard to the marketing had honey in it! If you're seeing these brochures on your doorknob every year, know that it is a Chinese community effort! From the printing to the distribution, it's all a volunteer effort. I was so impressed! In mid-December, I told Jill that if I got the opportunity again, I would go to see the show. A week later, another friend (THANK YOU, BOLA!) offered me tickets. The performance did not disappoint! I will not spoil the premise of the show, but I will say this-- the magnificence of this performance is predicated upon the precise skills of the dancers and the musicians; the opulent costumes drenched in rich, bright colors, the interspersion of tech and art; and the informative, yet comedic narrators. They only come once a year, so plan in advance to see this show in late December 2024!"
