"I visited from Austin about a month ago in January, although it was a bit rainy, so most of the birds were inside. The birds I did see were lovely, and the owls appeared to want nothing more than to see my friend spirited away! (I am grateful for having had the opportunity to learn owl language! I do apologise for not allowing them to eat my friend, but she's more useful alive I'm afraid!) I do not mind their menacing stares and blinking, myself. I plan to visit again soon on a sunny afternoon, in hopes of meeting the fantail pigeon, who I do hope is faring well and still available to chat, however incapable of speaking they may be. My tiny Magic 8 ball predicts a pleasant-albeit somewhat vague ("most likely" birdful)- second visit, and it has yet to mislead me, so I am indeed hopeful! I will update my review after my second visit, however it will most certainly always remain 5 stars anywhere birds are involved (which tends to be almost everywhere outdoors, mind), toodles!"
"We visited the aviary on a hot Sunday afternoon, and the place was full of black vultures. Probably close to 200 of them were there. Not many other birds were there, but it was a unique experience to see that many vultures in one place."
"Great free park with some beautiful birds and lots of vultures. Especially enjoyed the talking cockatoo and macaw, glad we visited!"
"That's truely a nice place!!! Owls, parrots, etc. Land and aquatic turtles in the ponds. And three different species of parrots that can talk!!! And it's free!"
"Very cool place to visit for free. The Cockatoo was the star of the show. Whistling back and forth with my daughter. Then started showing out swinging upside down. I didn't start recording until after that. Then it said "Hello" & "I Love You" wat too cool."
