"Love this place. Well shaded and calm for the most part on the weekdays. Not so sure about the weekends. Be careful parking, it dips low and the parking lot needs work so font mess your front end if you're in a actual small car."
"We take the family here for picnics and games playing. We have a new dog, and she loves running around in the open grass areas."
"This is a beautiful quiet place to take pictures. The trees are plentiful so you get the shade too. The grass was green and there's a backdrop of greenery. Lovely place for family pictures. There's picnic tables so you can enjoy a nice relaxing picnic."
"Serene, large waterside open space with an approved trail for a short bike ride off road or an interesting hike of exploration as trail loops around and departs to deviate from your distances to complete. Easy, but pitching terrain offer a good taste of loamy, silty Bottoms dirt. No need for gears here, we ride brakeless fixed gear bikes.. on a purpose built gem in a tranquil setting just between lake and roadside with park signage, pull outs to park and picnic spots. Ride at your own risk, its super easy but few stumps, deadwood fall and roots are about the limits for technical aspects of this fun little trail. Not marked nor is directed by signs, it may or may not be cleared by rake. Just go follow the track bearing right of a dry drain depression to begin from parking, you can find it on Strava, too. Get it while It's Hot!"
"This is one of my favorite places to just go chill out. It is tucked away, but well worth the drive. It is quiet, well kept, and has that 'lost from the world' feel that we need sometimes. Rarely empty, but never crowded. Several picnic tables, but placed well apart"
