"To join your children in the play area, you must purchase their socks in addition to the tickets. The food is horrible, and the staff appears to be quite miserable. And lastly, the play areas are filthy and covered with muck. I suggest that others not squander their money here."
"Usually this place is great but the employees can’t agree on how they charge. We usually just take our daughter her but we took her cousins with us this time. We called before going and asked do we pay per person or is it for the group. They said we don’t charge per person it’s just one charge for the group. When we went they charged us per person. They also charged our two year old full price before it was just a few dollars for 3 and under. That was a red flag but our daughter likes to play there and we were excited for her cousins to go. Then when we only had 45 minutes left they kicked me out of the toddler zone because I didn’t have a wristband and socks. I told the girl we come here every week and that has never been an issue. She got a nasty attitude and yelled at me saying I had to leave the toddler zone. They have served me and my wife beer without carding us but I’m supposed to let my daughter run around unattended because I don’t have a wrist band."
"First time visiting this play area in El Paso, very cute place, clean and safe. For kids under 5, great area with seatings around, which enable parents to keep an eye on them. For older kids they have climbing and basketball courts to keep them busy. Very nice, highly recommended."
"This place is a nightmare. Disorganized. If you are going on the weekend. There are really no places to sit and watch your kids. There was also a side, toward the back, where there are picnic tables next to rooms designated for bdays parties. There was no sign. No where to sit. So parents were sitting there. Got kicked out for a party. So they have a huge portion in the front for parties, 2 party rooms, and those picnic tables on the side FOR PARTIES. It seems like most of the sitting areas are for bday parties, which is fine, but don’t let in more than your occupancy. There should be a better system in place for something like this. On top of it, it does not feel safe. There is no one watching the doors. Plus all the parents are just crowded by the food bar/entrance. Utter disaster and will probably not come back."
"If you've ever taken your kids to the XZONE on Joe Battle let me warn you that it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. I saw so many red flags esp if you're not on top of your toddlers. I only went to the toddler area with my 2yo and had another friend of mine who brought her 2yo as well. Both of our kids legs got stuck in a broken netting and they were stuck with their legs having mid air at the top. It was a 8 to 10 foot drop. Anything that's broken, looks like it's been broken for a long time. They keep on duct taping stuff. Also you have to pay as an adult to watch your kids there, which isn't the issue bcz many places do that. However before leaving I spoke with the manager. Showed her pics I took of how unsafe the toddler area was. She showed no empathy and said thanks for letting us know. Not even a "I'm sorry". I asked how soon do you plan it fix it all because the whole place need a detailed inspection. She said they only do inspections every 3 months. Meanwhile the place was extremely over packed with kids, teens, adults all over the place. No weight limits were placed anywhere except on one Jump swing. No staff was walking around checking anything. Parking lot was another nightmare. Also the manager wasn't willing to seal off the toddler area despite me showing and telling her it was extremely unsafe. Instead she told me she'll have an employee staple the broken things. As I was leaving the employee was duct taping broken things that seemed to be able to not endure duct tape anymore as it had been duct taped a million times already. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone especially parents with toddlers. I can't speak for the teen area but teens were running around and playing in the toddler area as well. The place is poorly run and ill managed."
