"This is a tough review for me to write. I hate to do damage to small businesses, but sometimes people just need to be warned away. I helped a friend out by paying for their friends at Arnold Automotive to figure out what was wrong with her car, and the owners strung us along for weeks, supposedly waiting for parts. And they ran up over $2600 in repairs, plus the $200 spent towing the car to their business twice. In the end, the car broke down again, so I took it to a different mechanic, who very quickly identified a crack in one of the valves in the engine, rendering the car's engine unsalvageable. So, in addition to $2600 in repairs that will go to waste, we have to salvage the car, and try to find a new car. Had the owner done a decent job to begin with, we could've used that money toward a new car. This level of incompetence at this repair shop just cannot be overlooked. They don't answer their phone during business hours. They take two- and three-hour lunches. So obviously they don't take their business seriously. Add to that, they strung us along for weeks saying they had looked at the car. Dropping by after hours, we noticed that the driver's seat had not been adjusted at all, indicating that the much taller mechanics there had not even attempted to start the car. It should be noted that they did this to a friend. A friend! What will they do to you, a stranger? I would suggest avoiding Arnold Automotive for your car needs."
