"I started going to Sun Auto last year because of proximity to my home and it is easy to schedule service, and I have been very pleased. Diagnosis is straightforward and estimates are fair. They do exactly what they say, with professionalism and honesty. My only suggestion is to stop recommending service based on mileage. You don’t know what’s been done in the past, and it is misleading for those customers who don’t know much about their vehicle, or have forgotten. The manufacturer manual actually suggests inspection most of the time before service is performed, rather than simply looking at mileage. Y’all flushed my coolant four months prior to my visit, and suggested it again based on mileage."

"I got my auto inspection done late in the afternoon. I expected to hear excuses as to why they wouldn’t be able to since it was so late. But they we’re able to get me in and out so fast. The gentleman at the front desk was awesome when it came to customer service. I saw him with other customers as they came in. He treated everyone the same. He even reminded me I could go to the H‑E‑B service center to get my sticker. I live two blocks from my H‑E‑B. Great job!"

"I recently used these guys to do an alignment on my diesel work rig. The alignment tech did a bang-up job, no problems at all, so I decided to try them for repairs. Initially inwas going to leave my work vehicle with them for a week to look over everything. I couldn't because they were closed on Saturday. So I arrived home much sooner than anticipated, so I brought the vehicle to them on Monday, July 31 2023. Dropped it off and received paperwork to repair the egr system. I was told they would be calling the next day around noon. So I waited and no call what so ever. Today, 8-2-2023, I received a text with all recommended repairs and urgent repairs. The first problem I noticed was that they had the incorrect mileage for my vehicle at drop off. Second, as I combed through the repair recommendations, I noticed a lot of recommendations that were not at all needed and untrue. Brakes were in top shape, inspected 2 weeks prior to drop off. The air filter was replaced in March, I then noticed the rear pinion seal was on there as well, so I called. The service writer Colton Rose told me that the mileage was correct, and I told him it was not. 200k was under by about 100k. Then I asked what was going on with the rear pinion seal on the rear end. He said that that did not need repaired. So I then asked why all the details were incorrect.... it became a heated debate. I decided to go up there and was told that because I don't trust their diagnostic, they can't do any repairs. I already did not want them touching my vehicle. So I picked up my work rig and came home. I decided to verify their claims. Brakes, I checked by taking the reat llr wheels off. Nothing, no where needing replaced. Checked rear seal. No leak, nothing broken. Air filter checked again March 2023 replacement stamp. The recommended replacement of the radiator, that was replaced 2 years ago was more than likely over pressurized and cracked bybthe technician. Coolant, which has always been gm approved coolant, did not have contaminants and was not incorrect. Brake fluid, perfectly fine. Seems to me they are out to make a $$ off unknowing and ill-informed motorists by taking advantage and recommending repairs and replacements not needed. I've contacted corporate sun auto and will be sending them the same photographs with timestamps and geo location data. So sad to see a company take advantage of the community that supports them and their families. CUSTOMERS BEWARE* DOUBLE CHECK ALL RECOMMENDATIONS AND VERIFY THE BROKEN, WORN, PR OUT OF SERVICE PARTS BEFORE COMMITING TONTHE REPAIRS."
