"Called and scheduled an appointment to have a recall completed. I showed up on the date and time I was told. I told Gilbert I was leaving my vehicle and would come back later in the day to pick it up. While dropping it off I did order a tire and they told me that would be in the next day. I agreed and said ok. I called later in the day because I hadn’t received any updates and they said you can leave it overnight I said no I need transportation. I told them I could drop it off in the morning. When I picked up the vehicle they told me they didn’t do anything to it so it sat in the parking lot all day with no work being done. Gilbert, told me the technician said he would knock everything out the next day all at once. I brought my truck in and I waited for the work to be completed and I didn’t get an update until about 9 hours later. Very frustrated with the service at this location. The technicians and advisors all left as it was now after hours and when I finally got into my vehicle one of the problems I showed up for was still occurring. Now I have to call tomorrow."
"The guy was nice, but first told me to park, then come back later; I verified, " In the afternoon?" I think. "Yes". I drove off, & 7-8 minutes later, he called, laughing, & said he couldn't fix the car unless it was there, right? I went someplace else. The worst part was that we never got the photos to send to State Farm, & State Farm put all that on me. It was so difficult to get anyone on the phone who knew anything, that I was very upset & finally called, saying something like, "first, last name, date of accident, send photos to State Farm". I have never been that rude before in my life, but we pay for the insurance, they take the photos as we drive in, & never get reimbursed, because State Farm ALSO CAN'T GET ANYONE ON THE LINE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING!! It sounds like they have a bunch of teenagers running the place, at least outside a manager's office. The upside is that most other places, including HEB, freak me out to the max with the loud, pounding, jangly music, & super noisy customers, thumping cardboard plates, rustling anything in a bag, etc, and Vara seemed as quiet as church, in comparison--- during service. The guy who kept changing his mind & blaming it on me was also very nice--- just WEIRD!!!"
"This place is TERRIBLE my wife brought her car here they said they could fix the damage told us they would use ODM parts We looked at the itemized list and it was all cheap after market. Could not get the front bumper to fit right. Then they would ghost us and not reply back to phone calls. Had to take it to another place and they laughed at the work that was done fixed it with no issues."
"I took my truck in before 7:30 AM for an oil change and transmission flush, no one would call me back when I asked for update. I finally got a call back at 3:40ish PM saying the transmission fluid machine was broken so the oil change was all they can do. I show up 10 minutes after phone call and my truck was still not ready for pick up. I cant believe in those 9 hours, and oil change couldn't be completed on time. I still had to wait and didn't leave to almost 5pm. The tire rotation that supposed to be included with the service was not preformed, I took pictures and made notes and marks on tires to determine if they were in fact rotated and they were not. Same tires in the same place. I discouraged family and friends from coming here for new vehicles and services. Truly worst service ever."
