"I want people to be aware of the experience I had so you don't waste your time with these guys. If I could leave 0 stars I would. So I take my vehicle in for a complete rebuild on the Transmission, they do the job and tell me my vehicle is ready about a week later, I go to pick my car up and this is where it begins. -Dead battery due to park lights being left on, needed a jump to leave their shop. -They installed my starter wires underneath pitching between the Trans when the wires run over the starter. Had to remove and fix myself. Poor memory on how things go back together. -Installed my sway arm bar upside down and I almost lost control of my car on the highway due to their poor mistakes. -After getting them to reinstall it right they installed my front motor mount backwards. -Now for the cherry on top. -My Trans is actually slipping in drive again within the first 5 months of having my car back and only 2800 miles put on their build. I talked to the owners son and he can't guarantee me that there won't be any surprise charges when I take my car back to them so they can fix it since it's within the 1 year warranty. I don't know why there would be any if it was a complete rebuild. Fraudulent work. Poor Customer service. Poor memory on how the vehicle get put back together. Not to mention they surprised me with an extra grand to pay on top of the original price he gave me. Talk about the most messed up experience. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR BACK MORE CLAPPED OUT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED."

After calling other shops in town I choose to call Better Transmission, do to their friendly approach on the phone and from the many great reviews this shop has. Rene helped me from the tow in till the job was finished. I'm not one to fill out reviews but I had too just to let other customers know this is a shop you can trust and rest assured the work will be done right. The tow was free, the inspection was free, and the price I received was much lower then I thought it would be. I had called the dealer before I called anyone and was shocked at the price I received. Unlike the dealer Rene only charges for the parts inside that are worn or damaged. The dealers price is for a totally rebuild transmission, that's why they can give a price over the phone. I received the same warranty the dealer offered a 12 month 12000 mile. I would recommend this shop to family, friends, and strangers.
