"Caliber is one of the Preferred Body Repair Shops for my Insurance company. My car was hit by a neighbor across the street from an Open House I was at. Caliber repaired my car but the repair isn't great. I can still see a small vertical crease in the area. The paint although matches the color, has more metal flakes than the rest of the car. Also it has a slight orange peel appearance to it. They forgot to install an interior panel when I went to pick up my car, it was sitting in the rear window deck. They somehow managed to get sanding dust throughout the entire interior of the car which is simply inexcusable. You don't sand a vehicle exterior for paint while the interior is exposed. Either mask it off if the door must be opened or close all the doors and windows. They gave me a date and time to pick up my car and after I had arrived and was sitting waiting they texted me it would be another 1 1/2 hours so they could "wash" my car. When I said no, and it should have been washed before being painted the person responded that it can't be washed prior to painting! Obviously they have no clue what the proper process is to prepare a vehicle for paint after sanding. Because of where the damage was located I have yet to remove the trunk interior panel to see if they actually removed the dents or if they merely filled them and then sanded and painted."
