"I would give a million stars if I could! It's one guy, who is so incredibly nice and does an amazing job. My fiancee's boots needed their soles replaced, and they look brand new now. The shop is full of all sorts of antiques and western items, it's so neat to see everything he has. I was also really pleased with the price, given that this is a one-man show, and he even hand-sewed everything on, it was not super expensive. Under $100 for the shoes to look better than the day he got them."

"I am writing this for a friend of mine who just left Boot and Heel Shoe repair on Lancaster Ave. Owned by Mr. Billy Adams. She is new to the area and has had a difficult time finding a shoe repair that really knows leather. After reading the reviews for Mr. Adams shop, she drove an hr. (Still on the road) each direction to go to Mr. Adams. Mr. Adams replaced the heels on her shoes while she waited. It was just one pair and she was willing to pick up when convenient for Mr. Adams but he replaced the heels and cleaned up the shoes beautifully. They are real patent leather and have lots of life left in them. She is so excited—She said, the is the best leather and shoe repair ever. She is from Canada and knows good leather. She said, “he treated me with respect and kindness! His service was exceptional and the price super fair!” Since she is driving, I am posting for her. Thank you, Mr. Adams! "Billy was really nice and pleasant to speak with. However, I’m not satisfied with the job done on my Red Wing boots. For $25, the expectation was to clean, weatherize & oil my boots. All of which was communicated upon drop off. Billy did not confirm what I had requested, simply began writing up a ticket. My boots were oiled on the spot when I went to pick them up a week later. The boots are just as dirty as when I went in. If I had intended for just an oil, Red wing does that service for free and I would’ve saved my gas money. I came here because of the raving reviews and was let down. Looking back, I should have confirmed what was being done to my boots before dropping them off. I blindly trusted Billy’s reputation & was not satisfied. Additionally, cost was not of issue. We would have paid whatever it took to complete this service properly."
