"Horrible service. Logging system is not electronic. So you’re trusting that the Bob doesn’t lose your ticket or that it doesn’t get blown away as the door flys open. I never recommend leaving a high dollar pair of boots or footwear with them. I know there aren’t many options in the area, but I’d avoid at all cost."
"Wonderful customer service. My boots look as good as the day I bought them. Boots were ready when they were promised and the price was fair. I trust them with all future boot needs."
"Did a good job resoling my boots; they did not fix the bad squeak in the shank ; this was the reason I took them in to begin with. They cleaned them up and finished them very nicely so it's a mixed review."
"After a month I finally went to pick up my boots that were not fixed, and on top of that they broke one of the buckles. The whole time they were incredibly rude, even yelled at me in one of the phone calls. I am disappointed, and would recommend you better run in the opposite direction of this place. The worst experience as a customer anywhere in all my life. I would give them zero stars if that was an option."
"I paid $100 to have a pair of lace-up boots resoled. It was a mixed experience. Negative points first: -Rather than remove the welt-stitch from the previous sole, they just stitched the new sole on over it. You can see the old thread in places, and it looks messy. -On one spot, the new stitch wanders off the top of the welt and onto the side (see picture). It looks bad, and I'm pretty unhappy about it. Even worse that it's on the outside of the shoe, where people can see it. -There were plenty of fuzzy bits that I have to burn off. Easy enough to do myself, but I wish they'd done it for me. Positive points: -Customer service was pretty good. The shopkeeper texted me fairly regularly to keep me updated about the status. -The shop worked with me to find the sort of sole I was looking for. When we found it, they made a special order to have it delivered. They said it would be done in two weeks, and it was. -It looks like they cut new spacer blocks for my split heel. I didn't ask for it, but it's well-finished and looks good. Overall: I really wish that they had repaired the stitch on my welt before returning it to me. That and the other points I mentioned leave me with the impression that this shop is serviceable, but nothing special. 3/5"
