"Worst service ever!!! I came in there from another state in order to get my registration and tags and new plates on 2/2024! One of the women (middle to late age) at the desk was looking very stoic, and literally never smiled or made eye contact with people. Oddly enough she was completely robotic and had zero personality. The other woman (also mid to late age) at the desk seemed to have a more friendly personality until you actually started working with her. She ended up actually being worse than the first lady. My situation was that in my relocation to Texas, I lost my registration to my car. The dealer where I bought my car in Pennsylvania emailed me a copy of it which I had on my phone. The stoic woman would not accept it. She told me I could go two or three doors down to an insurance company and ask them to make me a copy… That’s exactly what I did and luckily they were able to make a copy for me. I took my copy back and the woman who I thought appeared initially much nicer (I WAS SO WRONG) tells me some of the numbers/letters were not clear. She said she needed to have a clear copy in which I told her I have the original copy saved on my phone and I have the Vin number which was on my sales receipt of the car. She would not accept this under no circumstances, and really couldn’t provide a decent reason why. She literally would not budge in accommodating me when I actually had the numbers with me in another format. Keep in mind, transferring to another state and trying to take care of all of this is extremely frustrating, and neither of these women provided any compassion, or assistance when I had the Vin number - all she had to do was look at it yet. Instead, she PURPOSELY chose not to assist me and make life just a little more difficult. I left… drove 2 miles down the road and got exactly what I needed from another company, who were extremely professional, accommodating, never flinched at the Vin number, or even made a comment about it, welcomed me to the state of Texas with a smile and me feel very comfortable. Within one hour, I actually had my new plates and the registration .. which confirmed for me that these two women make their own rules, instead of actually trying to help people. I end up calling this location and told them they needed to be more compassion, work with people, and not make peoples lives as hard as they did. It was so unnecessary and it’s a clear example of when people should not be in jobs where they are providing service for others. I’m not sure if these ladies have worked in this place all of their lives and are completely miserable, but it is clear to me that they both need to give their jobs up to others who have a personality and who actually love working and helping people because it is obvious to me that they have zero customer service. These two women work for the State of Texas yet they were acting like they owned this little company and was the CEO. I could’ve easily let my transition to Texas be ruined by these two miserable women working in this office when in fact, the majority of the people I have met here have been so very nice and welcoming. Thank God these two women weren’t the first people I met when I got here because the customer service they provided was the worst. Do not go to this place of business. Another thing, I shared this with my son-in-law, who is from Texas and Mexican. As soon as I shared this with him, he said to me, “they didn’t want to help you..” We talked much deeper about it, and that’s when I learned, there are some Mexicans, who really do not like Black people. It was clear to me that these two (especially the one who seemed nicer, but end up being worse than the first one) didn’t. Please, please, please google another place to go … I promise you there’s a few right in the vicinity… because this one is not it."
"I came in and the first employee misspelled my last name and told me to come back in 15-30 minutes to see Sonya. When I came in Sonya tried turning me away because the first employee had to be present. Than Sonya looked and me and said did you even notice the name was misspelled. I explained yes I know how to spell my last name which is why I told the previous employee. Sonya then told me she could not help me and I could come back. I asked for a refund and said I would go somewhere else because the last three times she had helped me it has been horrible. Claudia stepped in and Sonya reluctantly completed the transaction for I requested in the beginning. The office on SW Military has better customer service."
"Picked this place out from google. The young lady who works next to the window was very professional and kind. However the older lady that her desk is by the wall was very rude and had a rude tone. As a new customer this was a very bad experience and she should be ashamed. I will never go back again due to her. You shouldn’t work in customer service if you can’t be professional or at least compassionate."
"Short wait but fast service! Came here for vehicle registration renewal and was simple and easy! But make sure you call and see if they offer the service you are looking for as several people ahead of me got referred to the DMV or County Tax Office."
"New girls working there not the same miss the old heads I could come and do my title work at ease with no problems now these new ladies pick and poke at little details they don’t have to I’m a regular cause I buy sell cars threw auctions need find new spot is all not every T is gonna always be crossed but with a regular come on now….. aside from that just know when you come any lil thing will turn you around…."
