"The first mechanic I called told me I had a transmission problem and to buy another car. I wanted my car looked at before deciding to trash it. I had my car towed to Frisco automotive and transmission and the owner was able to look at it the same day. I was just so surprised because I know that mechanics have a lot of cars they're working on at any one time. He was very friendly and helpful. At the end, we did not have a transmission problem. It was a battery issue. I am very grateful for their help."

"These guys USED to be my go to, had great service before, but this one was not good. 2012 Audi blew timing chain and turbo, expect this due to it's age. Gave them the go ahead to do the work, pricey, but I expected that also. What I didn't expect, I assume they had to take the engine out of the car. And again, I assume they took off the hood and maybe the fenders. None of the parts line up correctly, hood off so bad, my windshield washer squirts over the roof of the car. Right fender and hood seams way off. Also, did not plug in left fog light. I thought it was burned out, but when I took it apart, all I had to do was plug it in. Also, never had to put oil in this car, beside regular maintenace, now oil light goes off every other month. Really surprised with these guys, they are usually spot on and great to deal with."

"Took my vehicle in for an oil pressure issue. The people I spoke with were professional and knowledgeable. After they diagnosed the problem, they called me to let me know how much the repair would cost. I thought the price was high but was not sure, so I told them to go ahead with the repairs. I ended up calling a few other mechanic shops in the meantime to get a quote over the phone for the exact same repair work and was shocked when others quoted me a price that was about 40% less! I told the folks at Frisco Auto and Transmission what other places were charging. They gave me a small discount, but it was nothing compared to what I could have saved elsewhere. I am not blaming anyone but myself. I should have done more research before committing to Frisco Auto and Transmission. Never hurts to get several quotes beforehand."

"I have never left a review before, but since I’m still angry a year later I would say it’s worth leaving. I came in with my 2012 Ford Focus. A part in my transmission had gone out. Ford wasn’t making the part at the time and it was on back order by about 6 months. This place found the part somewhere. I’m sure it was used not really sure since my mom handled the logistics because the car was in her name. They charged me 5K to put the part in and buy the part. They installed the part and the car was still over heating and not working. I brought it back twice and they couldn’t get it to work. Instead of owning they had no idea what they were doing they just kept finding new things that were “wrong”. Nothing ended up fixing it so the 5K I could have used on a new car I ended up spending on a part that didn’t even work. I ended up selling the car to Chevy for 1K and buying a new one with no money. Thanks for ripping me off and ignoring everything my mom and I said to you. I didn’t believe that women aren’t taken seriously at repair shops and dealerships until this experience. Thanks for making a 22 year old recent graduate struggle financially for an entire year. Y’all are upstanding and I hope you get shut down."
