"This is what a dining experience should be. Even though this location has been open for 19 years, the menu was exciting. It felt like a new venture. The waitstaff was experience and skilled. The head chef created the well thought out menu. The chefs made the food as everything was magnificent. Our calamari and shrimp appetizer was light and not greasy. Our butchers pizza was perfection. And finally the goat cheese beignets were the standout items. Move over NOLA. These beignets need a patents. With a sprinkle of black pepper and drizzle of honey. I live here now. You can buy a bottle of wine and if you don’t finish it, they will cork it and send it home with you. No pressure to drink it in its entirety and then get on the road with a buzz. Otherwise, you can try one of their many wine flights. The way the flights were named was well represented of all the varietals available. The wines were elegant and planned well. Different locations around town. Two in Austin. I think some in Dallas and Chicago. Everything here made me smile. Thank you, Carlos and crew"
