myDental at Tech Ridge

"Easily the worst Dental Experience in my life. I arrived before my appointment time and was checked in quickly. Before I even get called back they schedule my 6 month follow up for me at a time of day I don’t prefer while I’m standing 3 feet away without confirming with me. I didn’t get called back until 15 minutes after my appointment time. Which seeing as I was the last patient, and as far as I could tell the ONLY patient at the moment, seemed odd. Then I go back to do my X Rays. The lady who did my X rays took about 8 pictures but took each MULTIPLE times. She was struggling the entire time. She wasn’t using the device you attach to the sensor to align the X-ray which was probably why she kept having to redo it. Then in between X-rays she would put the sensor that was in my mouth ON THE TABLE. Not on the sterile pad, but the plain wooden table. And then put it back in my mouth multiple times. After about 35 minutes another employee comes in and asks “you’re still doing X-rays? I guess I’ll do it” then I’m left alone for 10 minutes. The 2nd lady comes back and they delete ALL of the photos already taken and redo them ALL. Probably had like 40 X-rays. Also the first employee was using the wrong sensor the entire time. I told the second employee about the first employee putting the sensor on the table and back in my mouth and she goes, “well we wipe off the table.” Then I go to see the dentist and she tells me that I need about 1200 dollars of dental work done. I have no pain and had a clean bill of health with my old dentist 6 months ago so I was immediately skeptical. Then they say (an hour and a half into my cleaning appointment) we will do the cleaning. The first employee who couldn’t even do X-rays comes in to do my cleaning and she cleaned my teeth for all of 60 seconds. And then left. Mind you I still had grit ALL over my teeth so I get up to rinse. They then tell me that I should wait in the room so they can go over pricing. I stand there for a few minutes but at this point I’m already certain I’m not coming back so I decide to go see if I need to do anything to check out. The front office employee was chit chatting with the VERY person who was supposed to come talk to me about pricing (I know this because when I walked up she handed my sheet to the front office employee and then left). So I’m not entirely sure how long I was supposed to wait in the room but I’m glad I didn’t. About 10 minutes after I left I called and asked them to cancel my 6 month follow up to which the response I got was “is that it?” Also the entire time (X-rays, dental exam, and cleaning) no one cared whether or not saliva or any other fluid got anywhere and I was not given tissues or anything. So as they would not wipe up I was using my own hands to keep water and spit from sliding down. If not for my glasses I would have had fluoride in my eye and ended up with some on my shirt. DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"I had a great experience at myDental. The front desk team is friendly and welcoming. Clinic is clean and has a pleasant vibe. The hygienist and doctors are professional and are good at it. Recommend this place."

"Overall good experience! This was my first time at this location. I was brought into the dental room pretty quickly after checking in online. The staff was friendly and inviting. My tech Jasmine was awesome, very personable and made me feel comfortable. The doctor(Dr.T) was great as well! Addressed my concerns and sent me home feeling positive about my recovery process. Would definitely recommend this office."
