"I never write reviews, but felt very compelled after my experience with Dr. Thompson, his assistant Renate and the whole staff at Lonestar Endodontics. My wife suffered a phantom jaw pain that she couldn't determine was a tooth problem until it was well in to the weekend, Easter weekend that was. We tried in vain to find help, but I don't blame those celebrating the holiday weekend, including our regular dentist Dr. Rob Roup who was out of town. We talked with Dr. Roup via cell and he suspected it was a root issue and recommended calling Lonestar Endodontics. I left a message with Lonestar over the weekend to please assist with getting her in as soon as possible, that she was in a lot of pain. They called early Monday and saw her immediately. Dr. Thompson's evaluation and Renate's advice before and after were spot on. I got to watch Dr. Thompson working on her and have to admit, it was easy to see his years of training and experience in doing the root canal as well as the hand in hand partnership at work with Renate. Oh, and this was on the tooth we didn't suspect as the culprit that Dr. Thompson was correct in diagnosing. All in all, it was a great experience and I, we recommend Lonestar Endodontics to anyone."

"Thank you to the team at Lonestar Endodontics near Lakeline Mall: Dr. Thompson, Renate, and the whole front office team. If you need a root canal (or two or three), you should go to them. My appointment was at 2:30. I got there at 2:30. What time did I get called to go in? 2:30. Everyone was nice, efficient, helpful and patient. And if you are a really good patient and listen carefully, you might hear Dr. Thompson singing softly to himself. Gotta love someone who loves his work so much that he sings while he is working."

"Who puts five stars and "LOVED IT!" in regards to a root canal? Anyone that goes to Lonestar Endodontics, that's who. I was sent to Dr. Thompson for a "tricky" root canal as my roots are severely crossed. I was nervous and dreading it since all you ever hear is how awful the procedure is from pretty much everyone. Lonestar Endo was impeccably clean and upscale and everyone that greeted me and checked me in was fantastic. Quick, easy and I never waited longer than a few minutes before being brought back. Renate, Dr. Thompson's assistant made me feel comfortable and got me all settled in before meeting the Doctor. She was a very knowledgeable assistant who made me feel so at ease. Dr. Thompson did the procedure and not only was he very polite and precise, but I literally did not feel a thing. Not one tiny bit of discomfort in the almost two hour procedure. They checked on me through out the procedure asking how I was doing and telling me where we were in the process. Even with the unique and rare root situation that they were presented with, Dr. Thompson and team did an amazing job. I never had any discomfort or pain during or after my visit to Lonestar. I don't always recommend root canals, but when I do, I recommend Lonestar Endodontics."
