Austex Dental

"Disappointing. I have been going here for years, and had nothing but positive experiences. Yesterday, I had a last minute work emergency pop up on my schedule that conflicted with my appointment at Austex the next day in the Afternoon. I called right away at around 4:00 to cancel my appointment. Google said they were open till 5, but their voicemail said they were closed already. I decided not to leave a voicemail because I wanted to talk to someone to reschedule, and I figured there was no difference to them if they got my cancellation after hours or first thing in the morning. When I called in however, I was told that I would have to pay a rescheduling penalty for the late notice. Most frustratingly, they said if I had left a voicemail yesterday then there would not have been any penalty. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, but it's disappointing that a long time customer doesn't get any benefit of the doubt or grace for calling first thing in the morning instead of leaving an after hours voicemail. Sadly, I will be exploring other options."

"I dont often leave reviews but i have to say that this place blew me away! The atmosphere, kindness and professionalism of the staff continues to wow me even after moving away. They helped me replace a broken retainer over the holidays...mailed it dirdctly to me (and quickly). I highly recommend trying them out if you are looking for good dentistry/ortho work in Austin/Wilco."

Dr. Mel is professional and wants patients to be happy, provides all options available. If you ask for slight adjustments to your plan, she works with you to find what is best for your needs. "First of all, like most people, I’m terrified of the dentist. I had to go in to fix my teeth after I had knocked them out a second time, you read that right. Dr. Ding and his team are very gentle (but firm)when they have to get in there. They made my visits comfortable and were so kind and patient scheduling my appointments. What I appreciate the most about this practice is that Dr. Ding explained everything what was going to happen before/ even during my procedures, it made me feel like everything was going to be ok and guess what, it is."

The offices are clean and the tech they use here is impressive. Probably the best dentist for people who hate going to the dentist. (Any even those if you who like it)"
