"Updated with major issue. $100 charge to tell us to take it to the dealership. I asked why the charge - they said for diagnostics to read the lights… I said the “lights” said what was wrong with it - “check tire pressure” and “coolant low.” Left $100 poorer with a “coolant low” light still on and an appointment at the nearest dealership. We’ve been coming here for years for inspections and repairs but I think we’ll start going elsewhere sadly as I just don’t feel this was right to charge us to say go elsewhere. Oh, and they had it overnight telling us they were waiting on parts to fix it because parts come at the end of the day, but when we called in the morning they hadn’t done anything and hadn’t planned to. Update - MAJOR DANGER. I was driving it to the dealership and realized on the highway that they hadn’t fastened the hood closed before they gave it back to us. I realized this as I was accelerating and the hood started bouncing up. I immediately slowed down and got off the highway. This could have been extremely dangerous if the hood had flown up and covered the windshield on the highway."
