"Updated with major issue. $100 charge to tell us to take it to the dealership. I asked why the charge - they said for diagnostics to read the lights… I said the “lights” said what was wrong with it - “check tire pressure” and “coolant low.” Left $100 poorer with a “coolant low” light still on and an appointment at the nearest dealership. We’ve been coming here for years for inspections and repairs but I think we’ll start going elsewhere sadly as I just don’t feel this was right to charge us to say go elsewhere. Oh, and they had it overnight telling us they were waiting on parts to fix it because parts come at the end of the day, but when we called in the morning they hadn’t done anything and hadn’t planned to. Update - MAJOR DANGER. I was driving it to the dealership and realized on the highway that they hadn’t fastened the hood closed before they gave it back to us. I realized this as I was accelerating and the hood started bouncing up. I immediately slowed down and got off the highway. This could have been extremely dangerous if the hood had flown up and covered the windshield on the highway."
"I started using Grogan’s Mill Shell Car Center when I needed a quick inspection when moving to the area. It was the closest to my home so I pulled in and I’m glad I did. It has been my go-to for all my car needs since then. They are fast, convenient and always nice and professional! They aren’t always trying to sell me extra stuff/services like most places I’ve been to. I feel they are honest and also very reasonable when it comes to pricing. I would highly recommend this business for all your car care needs!"
"My go to auto consultants and repair. Trust these guys. They help me with my old storm car...09 Scion xD ....and my new car...19 Tesla Mod 3. Helped me rule out fears and be safe with a persistent ck engine light issue. Appreciate the transportation to and from drop off.
