"Recent service at the VW dealer went well. I was eventually helped by Victoria Johnson. She spoke with the mechanic about my issues and they were resolved. She had Trung provide additional instruction that I needed; he was patient and thorough. Victoria was professional and cared that I was efficiently served. I hope to be served by her again."

"Don’t recommend buying a car from this place. Haven’t had it for a year yet and I keep bringing it back for multiple issues. They supposedly replaced my motor just for it to break again, and can’t even supply me with the proof of the new motor and where they got it from. Warranty has denied my coverage and says the dealership is responsible. So I’ve wasted $1500 on warranty coverage. Unfortunately vehicles been down for over a month and dealerships been telling me they’re waiting on corporate for a response. Their customer service number has ignored my messages over a week now, and can’t even get in contact with the GM. This dealership has messed with my livelihood and it’s absolutely unacceptable to keep giving me the run around at this point. Worst experience ever buying a car."

"Stopped in for service and repair. Made an appointment. Pulled up to service area and almost immediately wanted to leave. It was chaotic and unorganized. Waited in my car. Went inside. Asked what I should be doing. Was told to stay with my car. Waited some more and realized the chaos was probably going to continue into the service and repairs so I left. No way I’m gonna waste the time and money."

"Always a great experience at the service center at VW of Alamo Heights. I worked with Leilani for an issue with my tire, and while the tire wasn't in stock, it was ordered and later replaced under the Wheel/Tire protection plan. The service director Tumay had already helped me with a previous issue was covered under warranty, and she also came to check out my car for the tire and helped with the tire replacement. Even when the service center is extremely busy, Tumay says hi and is always friendly. Leilani and Tawni are also extremely nice and pleasant to work with. I'm glad this service center belongs to the VW that I purchased 2 vehicles from, as it is the closest one and its nice to see familiar faces when I bring my car in."

"Update 1: We had to take the car back 3 times for proper repairs and it took almost a month to repair a water leak. Update 2: Within a week we had to bring the car back with transmission error codes, Tumay Nguyen was extremely helpful and helped us get a loaner vehicle. As someone with health issues, it has been incredibly helpful to have a vehicle when ours is in the shop for so long. Gave a few stars back because of her helpfulness. _________ I would give the customer service team Chris and Ashley a 5 star rating, they were awesome and helpful when I really needed it. However, I am extremely unsatisfied with the quality of the work performed on our car. I had to wait 2 weeks for my car to get serviced (while pending warranty and waiting for a part), then I had to wait additional time for the repairs to be made. I was initially told that it would be a Friday, then it changed to Maybe Monday, and then it was eventually ready on a Tuesday. The service was to fix a water leak from the AC (which the warranty refused to cover). They said they were going to remove the carpet to properly clean it out. I got the car back today with not only water POURING from the passenger side, but the gross water smell was still there. They just parked the car in the sun and didn't state they removed the carpet and cleaned it properly. Since it smells like mold or gross bacteria, I expected they would properly clean it, especially for $900. But nope, still smells gross and it's still pouring water all over the place. Having to take it back tomorrow morning asap. Incredible inconvenience and extremely troublesome as a disabled person. Ashley was great and helped me with a loaner car after I begged for someone to help after waiting the first 2 weeks. Chris was thorough and did his job extremely well. I am appalled that we paid so much, just to still have a smelly car not properly cleaned and water everywhere again that we paid out of pocket to fix."
