DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

"Went to DSW over the weekend. DSW, has always been our place to shop for shoes, when we are the area. Usually, we have a great experience or close to it. However, this past weekend was the WORST customer service we ever experienced. The young lady that serviced us, didn’t greet us ( as we approached, we were never rude). She wasn’t dressed professionally, she was drinking on some type of drink while servicing us (where do you do that at). Had a hair net on her head (does she work in retail or a fast food joint), and threw the shoes we came to return on the shelf behind her. Had no decorum about herself and her work environment. The supervisor, I guess that is what she was, stood by the entrance door looking crazy and not concerned about her rude employees. Lastly, nearing closing time, which is 6, rudely kick a gentleman out but allowed others in the store. Come on DSW, you have to train your employees better. Hopefully, when we return, there are some improvements, or just bring a DSW closer to the Fort Knox area."

"Had the sweetest blonde girl Bailey check me out. She was very energetic and made sure I got the best deal and helped me find another pair in the store! Can’t wait to see her next time! She deserves a raise!!!"

"Went to 4 shoe stores first but should have started at DSW. I was able to find "the shoe" I wanted and the cost was affordable. The cashier was friendly and helpful."

"I fully understand that there’s an employee shortage and because of that store hours may change. However it’s extremely frustrating to arrive at a store with more than 30 minutes before the posted closing time and the doors are locked. This isn’t a mom n pop store that sets it’s own hours. If the company is aware of a staffing issue then the hours need to be updated to reflect that. As a corporation, do what you need to do for your employees to keep your store staffed and hours consistent! Or at the very least make sure hours stay updated on all platforms"
