"Ordered a shark robot in January, went to the store on two occasions and tracking was showing in North Dakota, customer service asked me to wait due to covid. I just recieved a email from best buy corporate where they are refusing to refund my 213 dollars. I will no longer do business with Best Buy and will report to BBB."
"Had an appointment for my AirPods at 11:20 for which I arrived 5 minutes early. There was a woman ahead of me in line. A Geek Squad employee came up and asked the woman ahead of me if she had an appointment, she did not, but they decided to help her anyway, taking her in my appointment slot. By 11:40, someone finally acknowledged my presence. They grabbed my headphones and took them to the back for their “apple specialist” to look at them. At 12:05 I finally asked how much longer they anticipated for their “diagnostics”. At 12:40 I was finally told that my headphones would have to be shipped in. I’m not sure why I made an appointment to have someone without an appointment take my spot. I’m also not sure why it took an HOUR for “diagnostics” to be run to tell me there was nothing they could do for me and they had to be shipped in anyway."
"Ordered a new charger for my laptop in person on november third. I go in 3 weeks later because now the tracking code doesn’t work anymore. They claimer I hadn’t ordered the charger DESPITE THE GUY WHO ORDERED IT WAS THERE! So after half an hour of them running around trying to find any records, I decide to just send my laptop for repairs. I get a call 2 days later that they needed me to come in with a thumb drive because all my data could get whiped. my only other option was to pay 100$ for them to put it on my own drive. I paid 300$ for a 3 year warranty and they can’t even save my data for me."
"DO NOT USE GEEK SQUAD. I took my laptop in for a diagnostic scan. It was obvious the staff on hand only had a very basic knowledge of computers. They wanted me to pay $150 for them to have their contractor do the service. $150 whether they could fix it or not. I left and took it to an independent computer repair store. There it was $25 for the same service and that fee is waved if they performed any additional work. Geek Squad is nothing more than a middle man who wants to charge a ridiculous price to then pass on the work to an outside contractor."
"The technician was friendly, patient and answered all our questions in a respectful way. We dated ourselves since our home system ran on Vista, so we were due for an upgrade. Recommend this place for help with computer set up for sure, as our experience was great! No problem coming home and starting the All-in-one Dell desktop! Thanks!"
