The Home Depot

"I'm never the one to leave reviews but my experience at this Homedepot deserves to be shared. I made an online purchase and they told me it would be in store in 2 days ready for pick up. Not bad, however they only shipped a part of the order and they told me the rest would take 7 days. Okay I guess I can leave with that but it was still frustrating being told one thing and them doing another. 7 days go by and I finally go to pick up my online order and they didn't even ship it to the store. The supervisores at the counter offered no solution or empathy for the problem. Homedepot needs to do better."

"Home Depot used to be THE hardware store in Clarksville. Unfortunately, the quality of their service and knowledge of their staff has deteriorated over the years. During a lumber purchase today, I found their selection lacking, their lumber of low quality, and their employees non-helpful. They couldn't even find the caution tape for us to attach to the lumber sticking out of the truck bed. I foresee most of my future hardware store purchases will happen at one of their competitors."

"I scheduled with Home Depot to have numerous doors in my house measured. 10 minutes before the guy was supposed to show up, he texted saying he wasn't coming due to rain. He was coming to my house to measure INTERIOR doors, but canceled due to rain. I have zero faith in the reliability of the services offered by Home Depot at this point. I called to get a refund, but after 15 minutes of sitting on hold without talking to anyone, I decided Home Depot can keep the $40. I'll take all of my future business to Lowe's and Menards."

"Customer service is the absolute worst here. We get a 10% military discount and I'm about to just continue to go to Lowe's right down the street and forget coming back. Never can find any help. And when you do find someone to help they don't know anything about that department. Pay people better so you can hire workers with common sense!"
