"This place is a absolute disaster. It’s like this every time my wife and I go in. It would not be so bad once or twice but it’s like this all the time for the last 2 years."

"This place should be shut down!! I was there yesterday Sunday September 24th 2023 the stench was awful. As I approached the check out line there were carts full of garbage bags and one full of rotting food and both were leaking foul smelling yuck. There were 3 people that I assume were employees doing absolutely nothing. Just about 6 months ago it wasn't that bad but getting there. I would be embarrassed if I owned something like that. What the hell happened to pride of ownership and work ethics. I am pretty sure that the health department would love to see these pictures. Please stay far away from that disgusting place."

"Just go across the street to Family Dollar! I loved this DG when it first opened up in our neighborhood!! Now, it is a total and complete mess! It’s filthy! Employees horse around and play tag (or whatever game that is) while customers wait and wait and wait. I cannot even begin to describe how many isles you cannot even TRY to walk down because of the ridiculous number of stock carts!! Customers are digging through boxes to find items that aren’t being placed on shelves. But, at least the employees are having fun hitting each other and cussing each other, in front of children, while they fight over the store’s keys! Just go to Family Dollar or go back into town to HEB."

"I get so irritated when people are not courteous and don’t display qualities of good customer service. You walk into the store, and nobody says good morning. There was a guy stocking some items, and I asked him where the creamer was and he told me where it was. I got my things and I told him I was ready and I walked towards the register. And I mean it goes by and I don’t see him. I went back and I told him I’m ready because I’m paying cash I can’t use the self-serve. So he said there should be somebody else in the front, which I didn’t see and that’s why I went to go grab him. I said don’t worry about it. I’ll look for him because I know you’re busy. I found the guy and I told him I’m ready because I’m paying cash. He turned around and looked at me and continued stocking. I went back to the register to wait, and I saw that he wasn’t coming. I go back and see if he’s coming again, and he’s on the other side, rearranging something. He finally comes to the register because he sees me standing there . Never says a word. Does it say good morning, did you find everything? OK, this is your total thank you nor have a good day. He never utters a word. And I just think why be in customer service if you don’t like being around people. Maybe I’m just old school but I don’t understand that. I usually don’t write reviews but I decided I would this time. Other than that I’m glad they seem to have milk, eggs, and the basic items in stock, and the store is generally clean whenever I come to visit."
