"I went in to get a last minute oil change. The process is a little confusing when you drive up you have to drive to the back. There was no wait. Everyone was friendly I used my coupon $20 off from google maps so that helped. I did notice they try to sell you things additionally from why you go. The prices are kinda high. Check your lights when you leave they left my brights on and it’s normally on Auto. Not sure why they did that??? (No reason to mess with my lights since I was getting an oil change) But I’m glad my car alerts me if not my battery would have died."

"CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! My time at Jiffy Lube on Hwy 6 was amazing. I have had issues with fast oil change places in the past from poor customer service to poor quality. The manager Ronnie and his team are super nice and helpful. I’m sorry but I was shocked at the level of professionalism that these guys uphold. I usually do my own work on my vehicle as I am a mechanic, but I will be back."

"Jiffy Lube on Highway 6 North in Houston, TX has been my go-to place for oil changes for years. I'm always impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the quick service, and the clean facilities. But my recent experience there was truly exceptional. Today, I was even more impressed than usual. I brought my car in for an oil change, and the crew noticed that my engine splash shield was loose. They didn't just tell me about it; they took the time to fix it for me, without even charging me. I was so grateful for their help. I especially want to thank Carter, the young man who fixed my splash shield. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain what he was doing. He's a real asset to the Jiffy Lube team. I highly recommend Jiffy Lube on Highway 6 North in Houston, TX. They're the best!"

"They are extremely dishonest based upon my experience. But if you don't know anything about cars, you won't catch them. They are so dishonest that I had to pursue a conversation with the regional manager as I have never been that shocked. In my opinion, you can not send family members here and trust they will be treated fairly or honestly. And sadly, I was told this location is one of many franchise locations all owned and trained by the same group. So you have to watch out for all of them. SUMMARY: They implied that certain work was required to pass state inspection. It was not. They knowingly threw away an expensive re-usable / cleanable filter in order to up-sell cheaper filters. When I initially spoke to the manager about this he readily admitted that they did all of this knowingly. So it wasn’t just incompetence. They consciously made that choice to be shifty. And to top it off, they didn’t properly re-assemble things they took apart and it caused a problem with the engine and generated an unnecessary check engine light. DETAIL: My wife came here for a state inspection when our preferred place down the road was not open. To up-sell additional services (they call a courtesy) they check your cabin air filter and your air filter, without asking. This is not part of state inspection and is not required. But the “manager” presented it in that context so a less knowledgeable person would think it was required in order to pass the state safety and emissions inspection. My wife agreed to change the filters because she just moved here and had no knowledge of what a state inspection involves. What made it worse was the cabin air filter is a cleanable and reusable K&N filter that is quite expensive. There is a HUGE sticker that says so in the glove box and again on the filter housing behind the glove box. (See photo.) Reputable shops would simply remind you to clean that filter. But the Jiffy Lube “manager” knowingly did not tell my wife and he threw away that re-usable filter to replace it with a disposable filter. When I spoke to him later, he acknowledged that he saw the sticker, and that he knew the filter was re-usable and expensive. But he was very smug that he had left that information out when talking to my wife. He said, “I asked her if she wanted to change the filter and she said yes.” And to top it off they didn’t even put the glove box back together. They literally threw a piece they left out back into the glove box. (See photos.) When they replaced the air filter under the hood, they didn’t properly close the air box so there was an air leak and unfiltered air and dirt were allowed to get into the car and set off the check engine light and require the mass air flow to be cleaned. All of this happened because they wanted to up-sell some cheap air filters. All the regional manager did was apologize for the dishonesty. I'm out time and additional money. How can you operate a business like that? I highly recommend you avoid this place and all the Jiffy Lube franchise locations in the area."
