Firestone Complete Auto Care

"Arrived to Firestone with a check engine light that was not on. Had the fuel and cooling system serviced. Also had two new tires put on along with a steering rod and alignment. When I picked up the vehicle, the check engine light was on and the steering wheel was off center. Took it back the next morning to get the steering wheel centered and have the check engine light resolved. I received and email that the car was ready for pick up but no phone call. I called Firestone and was told that the steering wheel was centered and that it was notated that the check engine light was on by their mechanic which is not true. The person that I talked to said that the check engine light would be cleared but it may come back on in the morning. My daughter picked up the vehicle and the check engine light was on and she was told that it will be $110 to run a diagnostic. On my daughters drive home, the steering wheel was still off center and at 65 mph it was pulling her off of the road."

"DO NOT COME HERE, they will try to trick you into stuff your car doesn't need just to spend more money. As a woman I have always found it hard to find a trusted shop to maintenance my car. It's sad to say but I have been taken advantage by mechanics and men who think I don't know a thing about my car. Sadly this is one of those places. I took my car in for a regular state inspection. They said it would take an hour so I dropped it off, moments later they called me to tell me my headlight was out but they could easily replace it. They quoted me $40 for labor and 15 for a new light. I immediately said no and picked up my car since I was sure the lights worked fine the day before. When I arrived I asked if I could purchase the light bulb they said was broken. The girl at the front desk went to check on my car just to tell me that they were all out of stock for the light bulb. I found it strange and wondered why would they offer to replace it if they didn't have the parts for my car. I took my car back home and found out the light bulb was working fine all along. They purposely disconnected the cable on the bulb to make it seem like it wasn't working. They had no intention of ever replacing the bulb all they wanted was to charge me the money for it as they thought I would never check"
