"Came to Tins to celebrate a birthday and was not disappointed. I did a lot of research on the many different omakase offered in Houston but Tins immediately stood out to me. I love their concept on giving customers an experience along with amazing quality fish. I think this is what really makes Tins special in comparison to other omakase in Houston. It's a unique experience that you won't get anywhere else. They seat 10 people per dinner session and my boyfriend and I were the only ones when we came. The chefs gave us a great experience, explaining all the dishes to us and telling us stories. It was a really nice and intimate setting. The fish is also prepared fresh. Definitely felt full and satisfied after each of the courses. The hour session gives you time to sit and enjoy the dinner rather than feel rushed. They also provide sake! There is also a cute lounge area to hang out in after your session is over. They're located right next to M-K-T in the height, which is a great area. They have a nice well lit parking lot. I am extremely satisfied with Tins and will be recommending this place to everyone. The care the chefs put into their dishes is very apparent and the quality is truly amazing. "Absolutely loved my experience and excited to go back. Don't let the location fool you, the food is amazing. I live nearby and have been anxiously awaiting the opening and we finally made reservations. The food is absolutely delicious, not too heavy, and comes out at a fast pace. The sake is bottomless and high quality. The music is from the 2010's and the company is fun. This place doesn't take itself too seriously which I love. I look forward to my next visit already. I have tried sushi all over Houston and am excited to keep supporting this local business!!"
