"4.5/5. Overall a great place for sushi but lacks compared to its Austin location. Reservation recommended and they have self park along with complimentary valet. It is a bit pricey so be willing to pay $100 per person if you order drinks. They also have a vegetarian menu so it’s great for those looking for non seafood or beef options."
"Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was spectacular but the service is what made this experience worth every penny and more. My boyfriend and I had the worst experience at a restaurant around the corner and came to Uchiko to try to redeem the night with a drink and an appetizer. We sat at the bar and we explained our experience in passing to our bartender David, we were just making conversation and didn’t expect anything from it. David absolutely went out of his way to redeem the night for us. He was so considerate in explaining the menu to us and was sweet enough to send us some extras to ensure the night ended in the best way. I can not express how impeccable the service was. 10/10."
"I'm only giving it 4 stars because it feels like it was that much more expensive than Uchi, but the food wasn't proportionally better. It was still excellent, but the river oaksy/galleria douche vibe was definitely strong. I don't mean to take away from the delicious food, the well-executed dishes, and the wonderful balanced flavors."
"We had a good time here. Service was so so but food was good until dessert - we thought the dessert courses were flat in flavor vs Uchi. Fish quality was pretty good but just a slight scale below Uchi and Oheya. We got the following and they gave a horchata ice cream one biter appetizer. Our favorite nigiris were the sake toro and unagi Koviche Dry aged duck Toro nuta Bincho koko Brussel sprouts Maki roll: Yellowtail maki Sashimi specials: Hirame Kinmedai Shima aji A5 Sashimi: Sake toro Kanpachi Kinoko Unagi Dessert: Milk and cereal S'mores"
