"Went to have a drum turned at this Oreilly Auto Parts. The manager measured the drum at 9.?" do not remember the fraction, and informed me it was out of tolerance. The out of tolerance for this drum is 10.09", he showed me this number. I attempted to point out to him this was not out of tolerance, he would not listen. When metal is removed the inside diameter will increase, not shrink. He then asked the assistant manager to look at the measurement, this time he measured 10.01", still not out of tolerance. He refused to turn the drum. As he stated, my safety, not the fact he cannot measure something twice and obtain the same result. Apparently he does not understand that out of tolerance means larger than the 101.01" for this drum."
