The host was super welcoming and even brought everyone sitting at the restaurant tastings of new dishes that came from the kitchen Would definitely recommend even for non vegetarians or vegans"

"Another review called this place a “hidden gem” and I couldn’t agree more! The man working there was so nice and accommodating to us. He offered friendly conversation, explained to us about certain food items, and ensured that more food was being made. He even came by our table with samples of food that were brought out from the kitchen. There were many options and I became very full trying to taste them all. There’s nothing lacking with the different options of tofus, sushi, rice, veggies, etc. Fair price for the buffet with $38.94 for two of us."

"We've been coming to Pine Forest for years and it hasn't changed-- still as delicious, welcoming, and comforting as it's always been! The owners are always so kind to us, and the last time we went they even treated us to a plate of fresh fried "chicken". If I didn't live an hour away I would find an excuse to eat here every week! "Best Chinese Vegan buffet I have been to. Many variety of choices and everything was vegan. All the foods were very flavorful and fresh foods were being made and brought out constantly. Will definitely visit again when I am in Houston. Couple of the staff did not speak English so it took a while to confirm if everything at the buffet or vegan or not. Manager or Owner was friendly"
