"PARA has really dropped the ball. Pickleball has exploded across the nation. The last tournament I played in Opelika had 750 players. Imagine the revenue in food sales and hotel rentals. Economic impact would be wonderful. Instead, while tennis is awesome, PARA has failed our city, pickleball is the new thing. Tennis courts sit almost empty in many places, and pickleball players fill pb courts til the lights shutoff at 10:00pm across the country. Get with the times. Build courts! No excuses. I’m tired of hearing the city give empty promises “we plan to build….blah blah blah”. Inept at best, lies at worst."
"Very clean and safe environment, only thing I noticed there was no trash cansoutside at courts. Just would have liked a place to put empty drink containers into when done with them. Especially after playing 3 hours or more with several students drinking drinks."
"We are really fortunate to have this facility in Tuscaloosa. It is so nice to be able to play year round and all weather conditions with the indoor courts. The staff have always been very friendly to me and I feel like they truly care about helping make my tennis game better. Thanks TTC!"
"There are tons of tennis facilities in this world. I’m sure some are bad, good, and even great. But Center Court is the real “ace” in the hole. Yes, pun intended. From the staff, to the indoor & courts, to the overall atmosphere, 5 gold stars all around. Would 1000% recommend to anyone from a beginner, to a division 1 player. One of my all time favorite places in Tuscaloosa and planet Earth."
"Center Court Tuscaloosa is the greatest collection of people I’ve ever been around. All the coaches and members are like my second family. I’m 4 years removed from playing college tennis and I decided to take lessons from Mike Goldammer to knock some rust off and to see if I could shake a few old bad habits (backhand and volleys mistakes). Mike is easily one of the best coaches I’ve ever seen. His lessons are a lot fun and very enlightening. I also play in the men’s clinic taught by Jacob McAllister and those are always a blast. There’s a great rotation of talented players and even better personalities. The indoor courts are amazing and the outdoor clay courts are top notch. If you’re interested in tennis or even just looking to try the sport out, I HIGHLY recommend you check CCT out."
