"Dr Kelley Robrock i have read your reviews on hyperemesis gravidium and i appreciate you wisdom and knowledge however i have a challenge for you. Its my daughter who is currently in IU carmel. She has extremely severe hyperemesis gravidium which no one can seem to get a handle on....her vomiting get so intense and she has nothing in there so she starts to throw up some of her stomach lining. It gets very scary. This time she is 7 weeks along and already pretty much bed ridden. The only solution that seemed to minimize it slightly was the picc line and trip to cancer unit to be givin IV fluids and a push a nausea med 2 to 3 times a week. Why do you suppose they can't find anything that would at least make her somewhat moveable throughout this long difficult process. I really wish you could see her to understand how intense and swvere ahe is. Ginger or none of the other stuff works. The Phenergan keeps her sedated so she sleeps therefore doesn't vomit......the res ofbthevmedications make her stomach continually burns then of course she vomits bad. Any suggestions im .open....thank you very concerned mom."
"I could write a book recommending Dr. Robrock, but I'll try to stick to the key details. I first met her the day before my Induction because she would be on call the day of. That's a tense time to be seeing a new physician, but she quickly put me at ease with compassion and friendliness. I had a rough delivery and she was informative, positive, collaborative, and incredibly skilled throughout, carefully explaining my options and talking decisions through with me. I also overheard nurses mention to each other that she was staying after her shift to help them turn the room around for a new patient, which says a lot to me about Dr. Robrock as a person. I have seen her since for additional care and she has been incredible - gentle examinations and thoroughly competent. She is now my primary OBGYN."
