"I called around 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday to verify in-network status with my plan. Clarissa answered the phone and took my information. She placed me on hold for about 5 minutes and then told me that there were issues with her system, so she would call back. I never received a return call. I called again 2 days later to inquire. Clarissa answered the phone again. I told her that I was expecting a call and never received one. Without acknowledging/apologizing, she began to ask for all of my information again. I asked her if she recalls the first phone call. She replied "yes", then placed me on hold. I was on hold for a few minutes, then she returned, informing me that there were delays with the system. She then told me that they are in network and offered to schedule. I replied to Clarissa by saying that I was looking forward to scheduling with this office, but this first impression isn't sitting well with me, as I understand mistakes do occur, but there was no apology for not calling me back. Her reply- "Well, it's up to you if you want to schedule the appointment." Needless to say, I declined. I intended to schedule for both my husband and myself, but once I was met with Clarissa's indifferent attitude, that immediately changed my mind. Being the one to have initial encounters with prospective patients, you are the face of the practice. You are representing the ENTIRE practice, not just yourself and how you may personally feel. Moving forward, if you feel flustered (which can happen), understand that you shouldn't project that onto others. Just take a deep breath prior to answering the phone, and know that it will be okay!"

"Booked 7 am expecting quick in and out. Alas, sat idle for 10 minutes. Prior, the text bot sends me several reminders AFTER I replied C to confirm. It reminded me, TWICE, that I would be penalized 25 dollars if I failed to show up. No, I did not previously miss an appt. Sheesh."

"It was okay. Lady that cleaned my teeth knew my daughter. Her brother was in my daughters class. First she went to sit on stool the stool flipped and she fell against my arm & then the floor. She was fine. Talked the whole time. Could not understand about half of it. Not very professional. I was relieved when she said she was only there for today!!!"

"This was first time at Northside Dental and they could not have possibly made a better first impression! From the moment I walked into the office, it felt like home - very warm and inviting with friendly ladies at the desk and a cozy waiting area with plenty of magazines, coloring books, and a TV. Upon check-in, the entire first visit was explained to me step by step. Maddie took my x-rays and again explained in even more detail what the remainder of the appointment would entail. She was friendly and happily chatted with me while we were waiting for Dr. Neff. After an examination, Dr. Neff herself cleaned my teeth. She, too, was so personable and made me feel at ease. I have an allergy to gluten and dairy and I was consistently assured that all products used during my cleaning and fluoride treatment were gluten and dairy free. I could not have picked a better office and look forward to interacting with the entire staff again in 6 months!"

"Dr. Neff and her staff are professional, courteous, and know what they are doing, hands down. What I have learned is there’s no stupid question. She responds to whatever concerns you have. I think what I like most about her is she is a perfectionist. Whatever procedure you’re having, she makes sure it’s done, not to her staff’s standards, but hers. She is a terrific dentist and I would recommend her."
