"My mom went to cancer services several years ago and they were great to her but now I have lung cancer and my disability has been a few hundred dollars less for 2 months now do to a technical error so I have called for help with gas for doctors appointments but they don’t return my calls then when I did reach this person there they didn’t want to help me unless I was going to a doctors appointment ( which is the only reason I would ask ) in 4 months I have been given 2 -10 dollar gas cards but when I call to ask I’m made to feel like I’m scamming these people. I’m all alone on this cancer stuff and was hoping more for a kind voice. It’s hurtful to feel that I’m such a burden so I won’t be putting myself through that again / they can keep their gas cards and I’ll keep my dignity!"
