"4/5 stars After 1 year of living here, I would say that my experience living here has been fair: Pros: Attentive leasing office staff, YMCA membership & Internet included in rent, a stones throw away from Mass Ave, and modern/up-to-date fixtures and appliances in unit Cons: Lots of corners were cut in the building/planning of this complex including but not limited to: poorly built shower that is too low to the ground, EXTREMELY thin floors/ceilings, super close proximity to the Rathskellar beer garden that hosts live (loud) music from late Spring-mid Fall EDIT: The property managers Brittany and Samantha are very accomodating and are willing to help when needed!"
"I moved into Block 20 about 3 months ago and it's been great so far! The location is perfect, right by Mass Ave, making everything in Indy easily accessible. The rent is affordable for the area, and the apartment itself is comfortable and has everything I could ever need. Management is always helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend to any young professionals looking for an apartment in Indy."
"Great rooftop lounge! Staff is friendly and always ready to help. Attached garage/location is amazing as well!"
"I have waited to review since it is a new building. There have been a lot of things to iron out. First, I'll start with package delivery. Amazon has been unable to come into the building leaving packages out in the rain. Which is an issue since the 1st floor floods often when it rains. If you have to sign for a package you will most likely have to wait until you can pick it up on the Northside assuming it's FedEx. This is because no one can access the apartment floor to deliver and there is no call box to residents. Very inconvenient for chasing around my work laptop. Had to miss my first day of a new job due to this. DHL and any other company cannot enter the building either. I live on the side of Rathskeller which I was told wasn't super loud but Friday and Saturday nights the music is so loud you cannot enjoy any activity at home such as your own music or tv. Even when showering with the door closed I hear the music and lyrics very clearly. Luckily this stops at 10 or 11 most nights but unfortunately starts at 4 Wednesday through Saturday. Needless to say I love the rain now… unless amazon is delivering. The resident elevator is down a lot. 3 times since I moved in and once was weeks. Now, the garage. Being in the city I have a bike. We were told bike racks are to be installed but I have yet to see that happen. My bike indoors is an eye sore taking up much needed space. My car was vandalized in the garage. Cost me almost $1000 in repairs. Not only that, drunk people are alway knocking down our gates, both elevators frequently smell of weed on the weekends. Now they have decided to assign spots to residents in the garage which are the worst spots possible so the public can have the better parking spaces (i.e. end spots and most convenient to the elevator. I have an electric car and they mentioned getting chargers for our garage but again yet to see that progress. I am one of many e cars here. Although they are kind enough to let me park in another property garage. There are usually only 2 of the 4 chargers working and there is ALWAYS a non electric car parked in the first spot which is almost always a working charger. I wish that was monitored better. I depend on charging for work the next day. It is beyond disrespectful to us that rely on it. It's like them going to the gas station and there are cars parked at each pump just left there. I do adore the leasing office and maintenance. They are amazing and are trying their best. I don't in any way blame them. They are fantastic. I just think there are things that could be drastically improved. I also think, prior to signing a lease I could have been told about the package delivery issues, that it is actually super loud on the weekends (poor insulation for a new building) and that they intended to give assigned parking to residents that is less than desirable. I would have definitely passed on Block 20."
"Their apartment complex frequently has issues with the fire alarm. It went off again this week and kept the entire block of mass Ave residents awake for the entire night. As of writing this it’s been 6 hours and no response from any staff at block 20."
