"Loved my experience finding a new home here . Emily was very sweet and helped me with any questions that I had . I would definitely recommend."
"It was okay I guess. But my car did get broken into 2 nights in a row parked in the plaza surface lot. It was a brand new car too. The community seemed nice. Outdated appliances that are gross and the leasing office staff could care less about you. I went with something cheaper and safer close by. Buckingham is no good"
"I lived at the plaza in a 2 bedroom unit for 1 year. Here are some thoughts I had about my stay: Pros: -price is very reasonable for the amount of space you get. -location is about a 15 minute walk from mass ave. -you have access to The Congress amenities (study rooms, gym, outdoor common area with grills, and a rooftop). -building looks historic with string lights in a nice courtyard and some units include floor to ceiling mirrors from when the building was originally constructed. -office staff is friendly and usually quick to respond. Cons: -maintenance issues. Our unit had a recurring, mysterious leak coming through the floor that never got fixed even after several maintenance visits. That being said, it is an old building. -even though the location is decent, it’s still kind of a haul to get to any bar, restaurant, or shopping. Especially in the winter. I prefer to walk outside my apartment and be right in the thick of things. -limited options for free nearby street parking. If you have friends visit, they will get towed if they park in the lot. -our unit had zero windows in the large living room. This probably falls on us more than the plaza staff, but there was NO natural light in our place. Just something to consider when choosing a unit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Plaza. However, recurring maintenance issues, inadequate unit lighting, and the distance from fun stuff were what caused us to move out after 1 year."
"I lived here for a full year lease. The building has so much character! It has been a boarding house since the 1900s. Maintenance is fantastic and I've always had thing fixed within 48 hours. Great apartment management is not dead. Paige and her staff are always on top of things and I don't think I've ever experienced anything like it. It is also comforting to know that some of the staff live in the building as well. I have just two negatives. When it rains, you will get shocked when you put your key in the door in the courtyard. There is a buzzer system connected to the door and when moisture gets inside....its not very pleasant....the other negative is that because you are across from the library, you will come across a lot of homeless people. I was told they are putting a gate up around the courtyard to help with this. Right now, they will sleep on the benches, leave trash around, etc. With all of that being said, I would still 100% recommend this place. The cost is high but on the lower end for being downtown."
"I have lived here for over a year now and moving out due to job change or else I can safely say I would have loved to only stay here. It is fairly reasonably priced property with character in downtown Indianapolis, making it affordable to live so close to downtown in city like Indianapolis. The staff and management are extremely responsive and make it feel like home, very accommodating of your needs and if you have any issues come up, they do whatever it takes to get it taken care of and very promptly. I give this management two thumbs up, I have lived with them in the past in a different city as well, had a similar experience."
