"I was really looking forward to finding some support through PT. During the intake call I expressed concern with insurance and understanding coverage. The person took my information and assured me that they work with my insurance and it would be discussed at my first appointment. My concerns about coverage were dismissed and I assumed that coverage was in line other medical appointments. I arrived for my first appointment and was informed that I would be required to pay 100% out of pocket until the deductible is met, which I rarely do. In hindsight I should have contacted my insurance directly, but in the moment I decided to put trust in the professional on the other end of the phone. I wish I would have been given the information prior to my appointment to make an informed decision. I am frustrated with these kinds of predatory practices and disappointed that I wasn’t given this information prior to showing up for the appointment."

"Today I finished my physical therapy at Steppin' Up Physical Therapy, Sagebrush office in Ft. Wayne. First off, I must say that everyone at this office was kind and professional as well as knowledgible including the front desk staff all the way through to all the physical therapists with whom I worked. My issue was L4-L5 back pain which I've dealt with for the last 20 years. To make a long story short my PT got me on the road to strengthening my core muscles which in turn holds my vertebrae into position.This in turn prevents my back from "going out" which is a most horrible pain. I especially want to acknowledge Nate, and his intern Adam, who both went above and beyond to get me on the road to better body mechanics. I know this will be a lifelong quest but I feel I now have the tools to make it happen. I highly recommend to anyone needing PT that you give this facility the nod. They are great folks and really know their stuff!"
