"The application process really has been way too complicated. The lady we worked with needs more training. She wasn't able to answer a lot of our questions, she was struggling to find paper work and get through the application process, and these new systems they are using are overly complicated and very frustrating. Never in any of my experiences has it taken multiple days just to complete the application process."

"Any positives I could find are outweighed by fact that somewhat same thing happened to me as T. Harris said in her review, one month ago. When my lease term expired, they raised my rent from 1016 to 1216 without giving me advance notice, and basically said “too bad” because (in my case) I did not give them notice I was moving. Mind you, it was then outside of my required notice period. Had they first given me notice of lease terms modification as required by Indiana statute, I would have effectively given my notice. I filed a claim in small claims and fared better than Ms. Harris by avoiding their threat of being sent to collections. Although I’m out my 500 security deposit, that’s much better than nearly 3 grand they first tried billing me for. Which then became $978 and after suing them, ultimately zero additional owed. I feel I should’ve done better for myself and gotten my deposit back but I’m not an attorney who argues cases for a living.The better news is that I’m neither a dishonest property manager who refuses to be accountable. I recommend finding another property that deals fairly."

"First of all it would have been nice if the offer of wanting the closest apartment to the parking lot..but I take blame in that part too. My biggest concern is walking my dog around the property where there is dog poop EVERYWHERE. Two months and still no dog waste bags. Dogs sniff I don't want my dog getting sick."

"Overall pretty good, after finally meeting with someone. No 1 bedroom to look at, which was my interest. However, the 2 bedroom was pretty decent & I would like to receive information for after visit. For interest in move in."

"Move-in experience has been nothing but a breeze with emerson village so far. The office staff has been so on top of all our questions and concerns, made our move as stress free as possible the staff has provided great support with overall and specifically move-in related questions. The maintenance team are incredibly friendly and helpful with their efforts to make you feel at home. Really appreciate their prompt response on overall matters. The maintenance supervisor Cody is so nice and helpful, as my mom and I were moving in we had to carry a large dresser and he noticed us struggling and offered to carry it into our apartment for us. Just nice to see them going above and beyond to help. Would definitely recommend others on moving in to this complex"
