"I try to keep my apartment home and all its contents in good shape, but when my microwave, faucet, and washer went out at the same time... maintenance was on the spot. They had it all fixed or replaced in a day. I'm grateful for excellent service!"
"When we first moved here it was for the amazing kitchens (I cook and bake from scratch), easy commute to work for him and for a safe playground for our son. Since then we've grown to love the community, our neighbors, the peaceful environment and the presence of police officers here. We have a special needs child and it's great to see how warm and inclusive the community has been here for him and that the staff also is welcoming for him. It's wonderful to know that he is safe and appreciated. The staff has always gone above and beyond for anything we've needed, and has always been fair and kind. These same things can be said for maintenance. They're a wonderful crew. Between the community/people that also live here, the staff and the maintenance team you couldn't ask for a kinder, warmer and better place to be!"
"I first moved into autumn chase with my family back in 2017. We needed to find a place quickly and we landed here. Luckily, they had something available right away. The staff has been friendly to us and easy to work with for the most part. Even when they get new people. The maintenance team is always friendly as well. My family and I eventually upgraded into a bigger 2 bedroom. And over the years we've had some issues with our current apartment. Some are reoccurring and others seem to just pop up. These are old apartments so I guess it is expected. But I wouldn't say it's "luxury living". This is a quiet community for the most part and we've never had any issues with anyone. The parking can be a pain because there has been several times where I have to park far away from my apartment because there aren't any open spaces. This place uses tags for vehicles to identify residents and visitors are supposed to park in the overflow lot. As you can imagine, this doesn't always go as planned and as a result, you can find several cars parked in residents parking spots. I've notified management several times about this issue and they have stated that they are implementing rules and regulations to help stop this issue but nothing has ever been resolved for this problem. I have younger children and depending on the time of year, it can be stressful to get my kids to the car if it's raining or snowing. Our apartment has several cracks in the ceiling and bows in some spots. We currently have a mold problem in our master bath due to a water leak and it has been an issue that has been "fixed" twice already. I've reached out and haven't had much communication regarding my concerns over this. I understand the maintenance crew is busy, but this issue keeps getting worse. The price you pay here is definitely not worth the condition that some of these apartments are in. Another issue we have in our downstairs apartment is when our neighbors upstairs smoke, all of that smoke comes through our vents and the smell is very prominent throughout the apartment. We try to spray fabreeze to help battle the smell but the smoke overpowers it. It makes it very difficult to be able to relax in your own home that you pay for. EDIT: The day after this initial review, I was contacted by Autumn Chase management in regards to my mold issue. It was promptly fixed and taken care of and I have not had an issue with this since. I do still have a few issues within my apartment that are awaiting repair. I understand their maintenance is under staffed, so the responses are bound to be spaced out. The cigarette smoke from the neighbors continues to overpower our entire apartment. We have resorted to leaving our bathroom fans on most of the time and lighting candles. Update from July 2023. The air ventilation in these apartments still isn't the best. Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done about it, you will need to buy extra candles and any good kind of fragrance spray to help combat the smell. We currently have new neighbors that smoke weed every morning and every evening. The corridor to the apartments fills up with the scent and our apartment does as well. From the laundry room to our living room. The scent is so strong that it is nauseating and it is hard to come home to something you pay for, just to light every candle you own to try and relax. We have contacted management several times about this issue and they have forwarded our messages to the property manager from what we were told. July 2023 update part 2. I didn't think that I would have to update this again so soon, but here we go. I've unfortunately stated in the past about a mold issue I had in my bathroom closet. If I had to guess, the same leak that caused the mold has been "fixed" at least 4 times by now. Well I guess there will be a 5th time because once again we have a leak in the same spot, only this time it looks worse as it has also caused the "new" wall to crack. But also, there is currently a leak in my ceiling out in the living room where the ceiling bows."
"The trash issue is getting out of hand. The garbage compactor has been overflowing for weeks; which isn't anything new, but that fact it has been going on for weeks straight is ridiculous. They decided to get an additional garbage can that is also now very full, but hard to put garbage in since it's 7ft tall. Not all trash is light enough to throw that high, and my disability makes it hard to do that anyway. The overflow causes trash piles outside of the cans and trash flying around the neighborhood. I'm really disappointed."
