"Husband and wife business. Not professional at all. Properties are slums. Some of the worst in Lafayette. The short haired owner woman is rude and talks down to you with a pinched lip. I know someone that rented here."
"Love my trailer. Land lords are fair and understanding."
"I've lived in my apartment since Sept. 1999. Yes, 1999... Other than some neighbours who were loud, I've had no complaints. It's not the Biltmore house, but I don't expect it to be for what I pay every month."
"On September 18, 2015 I took my sister over to do see an apartment through Hurt's Apartments and after we looked at it we went back to the office to leave a fee. I was lending my sister the fee for the time being since she had very little. The next day when we checked on something about the apartment we were told it had been given to someone else the day before!!! We eventually found a room my sister could rent. A week or so later I went back to Hurt's to get my $20, and the lady there said since I didn't come back right away...the owner already had the money!! The guy that showed us the apartment was there, and without a word he took out HIS wallet and handed me $20. HIM I appreciate! Well, then a couple months later I discovered this had become a hard inquiry on MY credit score! I called Transunion and they said I'd have to get a letter from Hurt's saying it was OK to delete the inquiry. I sent a letter to Hurt's December 21, 2105. I heard nothing. I called them several times and was told they'd look into it again and again. I finally got to talk to the owner today! Wow! She said she spoke to someone at Transunion and was told it wouldn't do any good for her to send anything because I'd co-signed with my sister and I would have been responsible for any payments she didn't make!!! I did NOT intend to co-sign anything with my sister because she has poor credit...I was only lending her that fee. So I called Transunion and the person I spoke to said everything is documented when they get a call and there was no record of a call this AM to them. So I called the owner of Hurt's back. She said she didn't like being called a liar and that she'd indeed called, but reluctantly she took my information to send me the letter. She called back in a few minutes and said that she'd called Transunion again and that they wanted some more information from her and from me, but she didn't have time to do all of that!!! So she's just dropping the ball. Shabby way to run a business to me when people are treated like that. It won't affect me hugely since my credit is in the excellent range and it will go away in 2 years, but it's the principal. I had to give this a star in order to post it, but that's the only reason."
"Hated It!!! I think they should move their offices next store right inside the jail behind bars. In my opinion."
