"We have stayed at Clock Tower Inn several times and have enjoyed our stay. This time was not so good. We got in late, so we basically came in and went to bed. The next morning, I found a mouse dropping in the bed. Then found another one on the tray that the ice container sits on. The shower didn’t work properly and there was hair on the shower wall. Pretty disappointed since this was our go to hotel when visiting family several times a year."
"Covid is long over and these guys still won't clean your room if you stay more than one day. There's one word for that, laziness. I've stayed at over a dozen motels over the last year some very low end ones and every single one cleaned the room daily. Won't stay here again, lost our business of over 30 years since it was brand new and still the Black Bear.... Pretty sad."
"Nice accommodations. The room didn't smell good for the price, though. Very meager rationed breakfast, and it wasn't available til 8:30 unfortunately."
"We had stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed this hotel. Our 3 night stay was prepaid and we cancelled our third night before 3 the previous day, but the new owners have not refunded our money. Not a good way to start a new business. We do not recommend this hotel any longer."
"The room was clean. The mattress was firm, but not rock like. The free breakfast wasn't really anything, but there weren't many guests, so maybe at a busier time they have a better breakfast. If you are just looking for a basic, clean hotel room, this is the one for you."
