"Nastiesr place I have ever stayed in. Where do I begin??? I was exhausted and needed a place to crash and the $60/night price seemed too enticing to pass up… what could POSSIBLY be that bad?? Turns out… pretty much everything. Place is super run-down, NO amenities, reeks of smoke. The room was clean but almost could not sleep with how bad the place smelled. Horribly uncomfortable bed with a comforter probably from 1970. Shower wasn’t great and there was a hair in the bar soap probably from a previous guest. The lobby is now used as a trucker’s school and is dark and uninviting. Staff tried to be friendly and make the best out of the situation but they weren’t there half the time and when I went out to get something to eat and came back, the place was locked and I had to knock on the door to get someone’s attention to open it. Plus, this place is in the middle of nowhere. If you’re hungry, it’s Subway, Hardee’s, or you’re out of luck, unless you want to go to the little mom-and-pop country kitchen across the street that got horrible reviews and I was even smart enough to avoid. No breakfast or even coffee. Keep driving to Corydon and pay the extra 30 or 40 bucks to stay in a clean, modern hotel that’ll give you a good night’s sleep, a clean room and shower, and a hot breakfast in the morning. Plus, they’ve got a 24-hour Waffle House in Corydon, so you won’t go hungry."

"This is no longer a travel motel. It’s a rundown former motel that rents by the week or night. I saw roaches but did not see bedbugs. Perhaps the thick residue of ash and tobacco smoke drove them away. Despite promises to the contrary, no one ever showed up to clean the room, bring toilet paper, or supply fresh towels. If you don’t go get them yourself, you can just do without. There is no basic cable or WiFi, just off-the-air TV and no phone in the rooms."

"Staff was nice, place smells old when entered the front. Room was decent, old style. Beds are not soft at all springy old beds. No ventilation for steam during hot showers, so everything will be muggy and fogged up. No cafe, but they do serve free breakfast. Won't be here to eat it, so try that at ur own risk. Semi parking friendly, as well as no pet fee."

"The manager gave me a good price because I told her I only needed the room for a few hours to get some sleep before I hit the road to drive cross country. I was not able to get any sleep because of kids yelling, running up and down the hallway and people always talking in the hallways. I called the manager and told her and she said she would take car of it but that only lasted like an hour until it happened again. Ended up only getting about a hour sleep. The room smelled of cat pee and feminine B.O. There was also no Towels to use after a shower."

"This experience was HORRIBLE, EXTREMELY DIRTY, the bed in the room was a double size lopsided and very springy. The loveseat looked like it was pulled out of a garbage truck, The bathroom had Bugs (ticks) crawling out of the carpet, and flies in the room. I spend 80% of my time on the road traveling for work and I do believe that this was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. When we arrived we had to call for someone to Check us in, The lady was friendly and nice but the room was disgusting. When we went to leave after a few hours of uncomfortable “rest” we opened the door to find a cat hanging out in the hallway. I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE."
