"STEER CLEAR OF RIVER MARKET! Please listen to these bad reviews! Their new renovations and marketing is to cover the fact that they literally SUCK! The apartment is absolutely filthy during move in, the maintenance people are a JOKE, their main worker, Bob completely ignores complaints and pushes it off. This man doesn’t know what he’s doing, he came in to “fix” a leak, it got worse, he tried to say it wasn’t his fault, and came about 3-4 times before the problem was somewhat resolved. Not to mention management does not care about their residents. The hallways are unkept, the mailroom constantly has mail and trash everywhere and their elavator was also broken for a month before they decided to fix it. There is so much more I can say about River Market, but recent reviews and pictures speak for itself. There’s a reason there are more 1 star reviews than 5…"

"Very disappointed with Yugo in West Lafayette, first the apartment had mold (very dangerous issue) after summer break and took 5 days for them to recognize the problem (event tough we report it since day 1), then they put my son on a temporary apartment and after 6 weeks they want him to move back right away and the fixed apartment is a mess, it is dirty and furniture es everywhere, also they have installed incorrectly so after 3 months my son cannot fully move, really bad customer service, clearly they do not care, Pictures can talk more than words."

"I lived here for 2 academic years, I wish I never chose Rivermarket. Your unit will be beyond subpar with cheap fixes and terrible living amenities. When you leave they'll throw every fee imaginable at you to cough up. Entire floors smell like drugs. and weekend party noise will bleed through your walls. Choose somewhere else nicer for a bit more, this place is the plague."

"In all of my experiences dealing with apartment complexes this has been the worst, and I’ve been moved to a hotel for 6 weeks by an apartment. I have experienced lies and misinformation coming from the complex, as well as misleading information in order to take money from tenants. Aside from personnel issues, the complex itself was constantly torn apart, very dirty, especially in hallways and laundry areas, and loud despite what the owners may claim. No matter what, do not move here if you expect money returned, or the correct amount of money charged. Altogether the living situation is mishandled and incompetent, and neighbors agreed, leaving me to believe that the something has either changed in the last year with management, or the ability to deliver on promises has changed…either way, I do not recommend, nor would I ever deal with this management again. Would be zero stars if this app allowed."

"This place is dirty...I have a visit today and I found 1.their trash-can is never cleaned and so is their laundry; 2.the stairs are terrible, it looks like there are so many dirty stains due to living waste. I was told that these are not just for one day, but stand for a very long time. Also the snow around the sidewalk was also not cleaned, like the area near the ice cream shop. They also have very bad reputation on returning the deposit fee, you should never expect you could get those money back, even you did a wonderful job on cleaning the room. I also heard that their apartment facilities are broken, they never fix these problems even you reported to them, and this is how they will charge the very high "maintenance fee" when you move out. Avoid this place with any cost... Update: To the leasing office, I don't know what you are referring to. There are no miscommunication or complaint, these are just facts, based on what I have found today. Please also stop turning white to black! And no, thank you, I won't visit your office for the non-sense invitation. The way you are trying to explain all these is disg***ed."
