"Great dorm. Has A/C, a large first floor lounge with pool table, ping pong table and piano and each floor has 2/3 microwaves"
"Elevators are small and low capacity. Court drivethru is always packed and tight to maneuver. Residence rooms are fairly compact and basic. Hawkins used to be a graduate student hall but now is more upper student class. Generally ok location SE corner of campus but could be a hike to opposite campus locations."
"Hawkins is a great place for students to live. It offers many things, including study rooms, the largest kitchen i've seen in any res. hall, a gym, conference room and lounges. I think it's a well rounded dorm. However, I wish the bathrooms were a little more renovated and modern. They dont really have a place to put things. Same qith the corridors, they are usually very dull and dark, no windows in the hallways. But the rooms are good sized with lots of storage. But again, the rooms are dark so you'll need your own lamp/light to brighten it up a little!"
"Still a Purdue residence dorm, but without all the hassle. Includes both undergrad and graduate students. Some hallways are quiet, like the one I was in, however I have heard others can be noisy (think it depends on how good an RA you have) . (I believe if your over 21 you can drink responsibly). Room types include doubles, singles, and shared baths. Also A.C."
