"Absolutely horrible experience renting from Ellis Ventures. Julie is rude and disrespectful and had been from day one. She allowed maintenance to come into our home without our knowledge while we weren’t there, and the men let our cat out. Julie said it was our fault/responsibility for not locking the cat up, but we were not informed they were coming ahead of time. She also tried to hold us responsible for a knick in the master bathtub when we moved in. We were the first to live in the home since it was built, and we reported any damages within the allotted time per their policy. Julie said that we damaged the bathtub and attempted to make us pay for the repair. Luckily, my husband and I had taken photos and videos before we moved in, and we were able to prove we hadn’t damaged the tub, but we had to argue with Julie about it first and involve Michael Ellis in the ordeal. Don’t count on getting a reasonable amount of your deposit back either. The home was painted using flat paint, so any time the walls are touched, it will leave a mark. You will be responsible for the cost of repainting the whole house. 0/5 stars. Do not recommend."

"Very rude staff (everyone says that and see other reviews also). They will not return your deposit back irrespective of how clean you leave the apartment back. Apartment were fine but you have to deal with very unprofessional and rude people during your entire stay."

"The lady who answers the phone and shows the properties is exremely rude. I called about looking for an apartment and she stated i was wasting her time. Not to mention im 7 months pregnant with not to much time to move. I would not rent from these people. They are crooks and are just looking for someone to get over on. These people are Very judgemental and obnoxious."
