"As a resident of Spoke Apartments, I've had the opportunity to experience the full spectrum of what this modern and well-equipped complex has to offer. I feel it's important to share my experience for the benefit of future tenants. The Positives: Modern and Stylish: The building itself is undeniably modern, featuring up-to-date amenities that make living here comfortable and convenient. Great Amenities: The array of amenities available is impressive. From the fitness center to the communal areas, everything is well-maintained and adds value to the resident experience. Areas of Concern ❌ (The Ugly): While the physical aspects of Spoke are commendable, my experience with the management team has been less than satisfactory, particularly regarding lease terms and communication. Communication Issues: As a tenant, I found that certain key aspects of the lease terms, specifically regarding the notice period for moving out, were not clearly communicated. This has led to significant unexpected financial strain, which could have been avoided with clearer information upfront. Management Responsiveness: My experience with the management team, specifically in regards to addressing concerns and providing timely responses, has been challenging. It's vital for a community like Spoke to have a management team that is not only professional but also empathetic and responsive to tenant needs. Final Thoughts: Spoke Apartments offers a high-quality living environment with its modern design and excellent amenities. However, the management aspect needs improvement, particularly in terms of transparency and communication with residents. My hope is that this feedback will be taken constructively, leading to improvements that match the high standards set by the physical aspects of this living space."

"Every apartment has its pros and cons but the main reason I am giving a one star is I no longer feel safe here. My bike was stolen out of the bike room on the second floor which is fob access only and requires you to enter through another fob in access only space. I talked to the front desk and they said there were no cameras in the bike room and they would have to watch like 10 cameras to see if anybody maybe came out with it so there was just nothing they could do. Either a resident is stealing bikes or somebody is breaking into the apartment and stealing bikes - either way it seems they should be concerned and they literally did not care at all. I choose to live here over a much cheaper apartment with a huge factor being the bike room and feeling that it would be secure. I don’t have a car or commute around the city any other way - I just bike or walk so this is a huge loss and I can’t afford to buy a new bike right now. I’m so frustrated and really don’t feel safe here anymore. The amenities are cool but do break down and the elevators in the north building do have frequent issues so if you are going to live here you want to make sure you are in the south building. Honestly would not recommend living here and do hope they consider what security looks like here asap."

"I have only been at Spoke for a small amount of time, but I already love it here. I needed to move into a new place within a 10 day time frame because of rodents in my previous apartment. Dominique helped assist me in a timely manner and made sure I was all set with my move. Maintenance stopped by and they were super friendly. My pet also loves it here and enjoys meeting so many new people daily! I love how friendly the front desk staff is as well. Could not be more happier!"

"I have lived at spoke for 14 months, and can honestly say it is the BEST place I have ever lived. The location is up and coming, and is close to all the best neighborhoods in Chicago. In the next couple of years, River West will be the hottest place to live. In Spoke, the units are stunning with a functional layout & top notch appliances, and have endless natural light, which was key to surviving two Chicago winters. The kitchen, in particular, was a dream come true. Also, the amenities (the gym & pool in particular) are incredible and really make the apartment worth it. I have also loved the constant activities and events planned for residents, as it makes Spoke a genuine community and is a great way to bond with and meet other residents & the Spoke staff. The most standout part of living in Spoke has been the AMAZING staff!! Irene, in particular, has been a highlight. She’s the kindest, most attentive and helpful, and is every resident’s bff. I’m so lucky to have met and become friends with such an amazing person, and Spoke is so lucky to have her! I also want to give a shoutout to Alex for always being so friendly, helpful and responsive, and to Jonathan for always answering my dumb questions with a smile on his face. Lisa and Michelle have also done a fabulous job in the leasing office, and made my residence at Spoke a breeze. I could not recommend Spoke enough, and really wish I could stay here forever!"

"I stopped by the building a few weeks ago for a tour and all I can say is AMAZING! Lisa was the agent who took me and my girlfriend around the building to see the apartments and also the amenities where we found out about their Sky Lounge!! I especially loved this since they offer cooking classes out there. We are not making our decision to move until later this year but Spoke is for sure our top choice after meeting the staff and seeing what they have to offer."
