"Yeah so I was a guest here for two weeks and the couches are so old I just couldn’t sit on them, I see people laying on them and people bring bugs. I never saw it get cleaned or vacuumed. There are workers here but you can only text message the property and it takes awhile for them to respond back to you. I ended up with spasms in my neck and shoulder area because the pillows was so hard. I am that person that just cleans anyway and you all want believe all the dirt and dust that was under my he bed. The bed frame had human juices, the throw blanket was dirty I don’t know how many people have wrapped this around them, it did not even smell clean. So if you really cleaning no one and I do mean no one should find this and clean. I did report the findings. The he cleaning was done mainly by two Hispanic workers _ no disrespect intended and he black lady would come down and destroy the room and leave come back close to time for her to leave bring the blankets, spray the bathroom for the smell but not clean it and just not good for there business, maybe if I was another color she would have jumped through hoops. I gave her my bedding she gave me 2 sheets back and that night it was cold so, I had to go into the other rooms to get a blanket and a heater because the one I had was broken when I tried to use it."

"The host I met was a pretty nice dude and I appreciate there was cleaning every day, but the handle to our door just kept falling off the door. Didn’t mind sharing a place with others, but this one lady seemed like she was living there and we never got any real privacy in the last few days of our vacation. The fridge was filled with food, so I’d recommend posting some rules about when you plan to clear the food. Also I wasn’t told about street cleaning and got a $60 ticket which really pissed me off that I wasn’t warned. It’s a great location and I felt safe with the cameras on the property and nice neighbors. You can walk to the Blue Line within 10 minutes and get anywhere in the city. Even if you just wanna chill in a new place for a couple of days, there’s a major grocery store and some chain restaurants to make sure you’re fed."

"Unsafe place and irresponsible owner. I had the worst experience in this place. The 2nd night some girls came (there could only be 2 at most) to occupy the 3rd room and they opened the door of my room without knocking. Then, they brought in approximately 10 people more, they had a party with those people who were not from the hostel, they yelled, they threw a ball against the floor at 2 am and they kept on yelling along with the men they brought. We called the police several times because we were afraid of what was happening at dawn and the police could not enter without authorization from the owner. The owner never responded to the calls and messages, nor did he want to refund us the amount for that night, saying that "that is the risk of sharing accommodation", he suggested that we go to a hotel the next time. He was irresponsible and rude, he did not take any action with how unsafe the situation was, we never saw him, for the rest of the guests (we should have been a maximum of 6 not 16). We had to leave this place at dawn due to how unsafe and violent the situation became. The owner refused to take responsibility, he did not respond until the next day when the housekeeper called him, he never showed his face and did not refund what he owed."

"I don’t understand why there are 1star review. Nice place, the neighborhood is safe and the green line is close. Cool and calm place to stay, the only thing is that you share the bathroom but you’re not sharing it with much people so that’s ok."

"Is it possible to give a ZERO STARS review? This place is run by thieves. Avoid at all costs. They have currently STOLEN $361 from me and the same from my brother for a ROOMS WE NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN. Please, whatever you have to do to find a better stay, keep looking. I am in the process of reporting them and there is an investigation ongoing through several regulatory agencies."
