Orchard Park Historical Society
About the Business
The Orchard Park Historical Society, located at 4287 South Buffalo Street in Orchard Park, New York, is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the local community. The society is currently open by appointment, offering tours of the historic Jolls House.
Built in 1870, the Jolls House is a beautiful example of Italianate architecture and has been restored to reflect the home of Dr. and Mrs. Jolls during his time as Orchard Park's prominent country doctor. The house includes the original three-room medical suite that Dr. Jolls used until his retirement in 1960.
Members of the Orchard Park Historical Society play a vital role in preserving and sharing the history of the community. They serve as docents for tours, maintain the Jolls House, archive donations, create displays, support fundraising efforts, and contribute to the society's exhibit at the annual Erie County Fair. Membership is open to all who share a passion for preserving local heritage. Join us in celebrating and preserving Orchard Park's rich history.
