"Great place for a walk plenty of forest and river, beautiful waterfall, great place to walk your dog or walk with friends and family. Easy access from the main road, and going parking. Short drive from Buffalo if you want to get out of the city and see some nature. Bring waterproof boots or sneakers if you want to see the eternal flame."

"The waterfall is beautiful and a great picture spot. It was cool to see the eternal flame. The kids loved it. But.....we were not prepared for the hike down to it. When it said stay on the trail we figured it would be a nice trail. It was rough. Lots of tree roots which in some spots helped as steps. The rocks down below were slippery and we didn't know we had to cross over in the water. Step over large logs. Not to mention we all had sneakers on."

"This was a little more challenging hike then we expected. The day after an amounting rain store, the creek was flowing and some parts were difficult to cross. After a rain storm I highly recommend wearing waterproof boots! If this weather was warm it would be a great place to get you feet wet. The enteral flame was a great place to see and highly recommend it to people who want to see an “eternal flame”!"

"Very satisfying hike - good reward at the end of the trail! Wear your hiking shoes and dress in layers since it's cooler in the woods (in the fall). Would recommend this for anyone that can handle a somewhat slippery, steep incline. Visit early to avoid crowds. Use the portapotty before your hike, just in case."

"This was one beautiful hike on the way to Niagra Falls! Stopped in Hamburg to do this short hike on a road trip and absolutely loved it! It was very rainy and we still saw 5 or so groups of people out so guessing this is a pretty busy trail on a nice day. The flame was lit behind the fall and so beautiful! Crossing the river was a little tricky with the water levels being higher in the rain but so worth it! Nice big parking lot too!"
