"Witenssed a "teacher" grab our kids arm aggressively and with a look of complete anger on her face. Also was talking bad about us as we walked by. No ouch reports after our child was bitten. And the icing on the cake is them refusing to let him use the bathroom during nap time and he actually wet himself when we have had no issues. Not to mention the random charges they say we owe even though it's been on autopay for months with no issues. The old staff was great. The new staff not so much."
"Will not recommend the children courtyard when my children started in 2022 the staffing were great, the curriculum was great , the staff was caring and loving and less drama . As soon as staffing changed /office staff the place went downhill tremendously, the place is very messy (office staff to be exact ) , kids are consistently sick the food is horrible. They send kids home for any and every little thing. Classrooms were ALWAYS out of ratio . Fees kept going up out of nowhere. They can’t keep no good teachers so they resort to hiring younger adults with no experience and expect them to know what to do it’s just throw them in the classrooms to watch the children. The turnover rate is horrible I was going to do a review a while ago after I contacted HR but HR never contacted me back . So it was important for me to make this review and let families know the important information that should be known before sending your children somewhere which is important. Also a little back story on my situation that resulted me taking my children out of the daycare . My toddler threw up and I was working that day in his classroom I was asked to stay if he was fine but normally he would have to go home. 5 hours later my infant was sick looking flushed , fever, not eating and sleeping alot I go to the bathroom and when I walked pass his class I was notified by the infant teachers that he had a fever and etc. So when the office staff come see what’s going on the infant teacher and I explained that my son was sick so I was asked by the office staff what I was gone do I said take my son home he sick . She walked away and came back with information from another office staff stating I have to take both my babies home 5 hours later because my toddler threw up which was wrong because I was asked to stay when it happen so they were upset that I had to leave and I address the situation and it was a lot of false narratives throwing out the to cover there behinds, the story goes on but I will stop here."
"Our experience at CCY has been great. We have two kids enrolled currently, and they have been with CCY since January of 2023. Some of the other reviews mention that there are different teachers every day, and while CCY I’m sure is experiencing the same turnover that every single child care institution is experiencing right now in this economy, we have yet to experience a single teacher that does not treat our children with the utmost respect and care. The center does a great job scheduling regular interactive learning activities for the kids like water days, visits from animal encounters, firefighters, karate and gymnastics classes, and more. We receive photos and videos daily of our kids experiencing these fun activities. All the teachers and staff have been nothing but friendly to us since day one, and every morning when we come in and evening when we leave, we are greeted with smiles and excitement. It seems every teacher knows our kids by name, even classrooms that they are not in. We even had a situation in May where our younger child needed to be rushed to the hospital while at daycare (for a medical reason unrelated to anything from daycare) and they responded quickly, calling necessary medical teams and even sent private follow-up messages to us in the days following asking us how she was doing. In our experience, they truly care about the children in their care and do their best to provide the best quality care possible under current extremely challenging economic circumstances."
"We only had our son in this facility out of desperation for childcare, and our fears of the worst reviews were realized within a few short days of our stay. We pulled our son out after day 3. I'm still unsure who my son's teachers were since we had different ones each day, and the entire center was highly unorganized and dirty. Different schedules each day (4 hour nap time 1 of the days). I watched this go on and had to call the center because a kid had put a blanket over my child's head while sleeping. The teachers don't know your child and don't want to know your child. My high school babysitter is better than the teachers in this school. You are basically paying for parents who want free childcare and pose as teachers. Get your child potty trained and there are so many better, more loving, school like options out there for the money."
"Don't do it for the sake of your child. My 2 year old was slung around by her arm and slammed in her chair by the teacher. There were many issues before, like picking her up with a urine filled shoe on because the teacher wasn't taking the kids to the bathroom. Lesson plans were not followed and sugary treats were served against my direction of not giving my child sugar. There was even a teacher who tried to make my child drink milk even though milk is on her allergy list. They refuse to provide the footage of my child being abused and it took more than 2 weeks to hear back from the corporate office about this incident. Please do not take your children here. There are more prestigious daycares (like primrose) that seem to care much more for your children and it's actually a little less expensive than the children's courtyard."
