"I'm just getting into mountain biking, and I was looking to buy a Maxxis Rekon 29x2.4 tire to match one that needed replacement on the used bike I recently purchased. I found one at REI, but I was interested in supporting a local business, so I started calling bike shops in Huntsville. Trailhead happened to have one, but their price was $88 compared $62.99 at REI. I asked the man on the phone if they could do any better on the pricing and told him REI had it substantially cheaper. He was very prompt and RUDE with his tone and reply - NO, Go get it at REI. Well, I did. I will NEVER call trailhead again, nor will I go there."

"The guys were awesome! I took my mountain bike in for suspension service after setting up an appointment. (This makes my life so much easier by knowing when I can get the bike back and minimizing the time it sits in the shop and not rolling down the trail.) Additionally, these guys were kind enough to save one of their old bike boxes for me to reuse. They held it to the side and gave me a call when it was available."

I took my bike for repairs but unfortunately it was beyond a little TLC, thankfully the employee there was able to sell me a new chain as well as adjust my brakes so I could get home safe! "I love being able to give happy and positive reviews! Today I broke my chain riding my bicycle into work and I called Trailhead. They didn't give me any false expectations, telling me that they wouldn't know how busy they would be when I got there but that they would do their best. I came on my lunch break and they fixed my chain while I waited and found that the rear derailleur was a little bit askew and they fixed that also. James was my mechanic and he was very open about the work that he did. He even gave me his card and said that he preferred appointments and I can't fault him for that at all. Overall it was a great experience and they have earned my business for the next time. I need some help with my bicycle. I encourage you to check them out also."
